After delving into Maoridom this year, I began to realize just how intertwined different cultures were.
Afterall, all people stem from one source, so it is no surprise that you will find many overlaps between one nation and another
The similarities I have found are plentiful, but this video only covers 3. I hope to make a part 2 which could possibly cover Manaakitanga, Tamoko, whakatauaki, and more.

Correction: some say Io Matangaro in fact means "the hidden", in which case a more equivalent arabic term would be "الباطن"

It's more of a Tribal Arabian traditions than Islamic.

Sorry but the cultural differences outweigh the similarities.
Again, these video are about building bridges and aroha. No one is saying we are exactly the same. But saying it is nice to embrace our similarities rather than always focus on our differences.
@@Mariam-Arif I get the intentions of this video however it is human nature to recognize differences over similarities. It is a survival trait that most people will subconsciously adhere to.
