    Thanks for the information, Sainthavi. Looking good with jimmiki! I also agree that completing a subject in a shorter duration is not helping much. I have experienced the same in my son’s case.

    First thing we need to teach children is how to express themselves how much they know. This country expects people to talk even if they know only little. This strategy helped me personally to get a residency spot with 1 interview and finally become MD. It is not how much they know it is how much they can tell others how much they know. Scores help but not the only thing. Interview skills should be instilled from very young so they know the value of fearless expression. I know of so many people very bright and intelligent unable to express the same. Very good video Sainthavi. I have become a fan of you from being a critical initially. 😂

    Thank you for the very informative video. My kid went to private school and her school doesn’t include the transcript from outside college along with school transcript. We have to send it separately to wherever we are applying. So each school and school district have their own policy for taking courses outside. So as you said in your video check with your school counselor before enrolling to classes in community college or online college.

    Yes she is correct every home is unique & every kids needs will be unique even sibilings too…if every neighbors, friends understand this they don’t do comparison & don’t get jealous …our most of the indian parents have comparison syndrome & jealous syndrome even they r educated parents….From Houston,Tx…

    I am a recent subscriber to your channel. You are doing excellent topics that are so much in need. I am a parent of a high school kid and moved to the US just last May. I regret not seeing your videos for so long. It would have really helped me getting insight of these courses. Thank you so much. You are doing a great job. I have a question, when AP couses r given in school can we skip that and take in a community College? How is the exams there in community College?

    • @SainthavisKitchen
      @SainthavisKitchen  2 года назад

      The Keystone exams were created to replace the Grade 11 PSSA and serve as one component of Pennsylvania's statewide high school graduation requirement. Keystone Exams will help school districts guide students toward meeting state standards.

    Wow now American experienceing tamilian or indian parent syndrome.jack of all trade concept creeping into American eduction system thru indian parents.but during 1990 to 2000 tamil parents adapted this syndrome and most of the kids now doing very good and most of the software company in the usa have these kids.expect few almost all them rose from lower middle class to now American standard life style.though we consider it as growth for indian lower class meaning in terms of earning to American standard, it is the achivement anyways.

    Also I think you forgot to add one good thing about taking AP classes if your child is able handle is the credits will be added to their first year of college so that you can avoid taking those classes. Most colleges will give up to 32 credits if you have taken college classes in their high school.
    In my daughter’s case she got 32 credits and considered as sophomore in college but since she preparing for MCAT she has to repeat some the AP classes in college. To meet the requirements for MCAT students should take class in college itself, Highschool AP won’t qualify. I am not sure it will qualify if those classes were taken in community college during their high school years.
