    Ive been wearing Bajio's for almost a year, on the motorcycle and on the boat. The clarity and customer service is awesome. Sat on mine and they sent me another pair! I have two pairs, different shapes, one I wear in the car and the other outdoors like boating or motorcycle. I wore Costa's for years and am thrilled with my switch.

    I've had pretty much every high-end brand polarized sunglass made. I tried on Bajio 'Nato' & they fit my large head very well. I ordered a pair from my local tackle store in 'Glass Rose Lenses'. (no one that I know of currently makes a rose colored polarized lens in glass). They only had grey lenses at the tackle store which still perplexes me. Why not have at least a 'sample' of every color lens at your retailers for customers to 'test'? . . . . Anyways, I am extremely happy with the Nato in Glass Rose lenses, hands down the best overall sunglasses I've ever owned. The rose lenses aren't the darkest but the clarity, and color separation are second to none in the conditions I use them. There is also a certain 'POP' to these lenses that is hard to describe . . . It may be the blue light filtration, or something else, but there is a noticeable difference and no, I didn't get mine for free . . . I paid full retail.

    Thanks Trip. Now that you have had them on the water, how is the visual clarity looking into the water? I love to sight fish and I know you need to be able to see into the water when you are shallow in the C-Dory so I am guessing you have some insight.
    By the way everyone, I wear polarized glasses almost all of the time. Especially when driving in the rain. If you haven't done it, try it. The polarization breaks through the fog and water glare in the air and you can see so much better. It might be a bit darker but you will see more and can save you from the fools who don't turn their lights on when it's raining and they are driving a dark vehicle.

      On the water is excellent. I can't tell if the in the water vision is better than my Costa's but I know that they just make my eyes feel less "tired"... I wear mine quite a bit as well. More so now that I have the Bajios.... Even in the rain or at dusk

    I got my Costas years ago with green glass (580G?) for the clarity reason while fishing and kayaking. All day type wearing. Always liked them. I wear cheap "torch" safety glasses when weed eating and such, but they're pretty dark. My truck is dark enough I don't need sunglasses driving. I typically wear poly lense ultralight frames just outside doing this and that. I will definitely check these out. I'm all about quality and customer service. Thanks, Trip.

      @@TripSmith I've been wearing Costa 580G for years. They have always fantastic and for most of the time, their customer service was also fantastic. But recently I've tried to get some repairs and Costa has made it almost impossible. They now require a receipt, who has a receipt from 8 years ago. Since Costa is going to require a receipt, even if I'm willing to pay for repairs or new lenses, I will no longer buy nor recommend their sunglasses.

    Big Costa fan,I have and have had several pairs,I can clearly tell the ones that are now made by Luxottica,in a lot of ways I actually find they are better than the older ones I have,I have been eyeing Bajio and I thought it was shitty all the people in Florida lost their jobs,and also thought it was bad for a brand born on the ocean to move out of Florida,but what’s to say Bajio won’t sell out too when this brand blows up,? They always do

    Costas offers the glass lenses and what makes them so much better than all other brands is there polarization. I've tried all kinds and nothing is better than Costas. If you're on land it's no biggie, BUT on the water Costas still reign supreme.

    • @TripSmith
      @TripSmith  2 года назад +3

      I donno if they still reign supreme. Sure, they did at one time. But the company has been sold and the haven't been keeping up with the latest technology so they are being passed by other brands. Which is the main reason the people who worked at Costa left and started Bajio ;)

      @@TripSmith Latest technology? Blue blocking "technology" was around since 1986. Google, Blue blocker sunglasses they used to run cheesy infomercials in the 80's. I still believe that Costas have the best polarization of and sunglasses on the market. If you can't see through the water with them they are useless to me on the boat.

    • @TripSmith
      @TripSmith  2 года назад

      @@NYGOLD Yes, latest technology. True, blue light blocking has been around but it has also been improved upon in various aspects. The basic point is that Costa used to be the cutting edge technology with polarized glasses. But Costa was bought out by an over seas company who is no longer concerned about being on the cutting edge. A lot of big players within Coasta were not happy with the direction of the new leadership as there were no longer trying to have the best product. So those people left Costa and started Bajio. Bajio is now creating a better lens that allows the wearer to see even better on/through the water than Costa because Costa is not putting the new lens technologies into their lenses like they once were. I understand the feeling towards Costa, the people at Bajio had that same feeling.....
