I'm assuming you're talking about curse of shadow. It decreases the targets shadow and arcane resistance and increase the shadow and arcane damage they take
Great video! Out of curiousity, why Undead and not Orc? The Orc stun resist helps with the rogue match up a lot. Just trying to decide between orc and undead now; I prefer the undead animations but the orc racial is so strong!
sm/ruin, conflag, SL are all viable with their own strengths. SL is best 1v1 spec but is kind of low skill compared to the other specs and doesn't do much damage making it weaker in stuff like WSG where you can get a lot more casts off.
Can you make a copy of Import for your setting for weakauras? I cant seem to figure out how to set it up to have debuffs above enemies, like you do. Maybe a paste bin link of the code? Thanks so much.

Although the vid you linked was very cool I saw in the comments that the rogue didn't use blind (and the warlock didn't use death coil? I'm not sure). So I guess a undead rogue can 100-0 you without you having a reacting chance if he plays perfectly or am I wrong?
@@napoleonborntoparty3093 Ya a rogue can 100-0 you if he plays perfectly without you even getting a chance to cast anything or move if you aren't SL. Doesn't matter if they are undead or not. If you are SL with voidwalker the matchup becomes more balanced.
@@napoleonborntoparty3093 well, most of the rogues I've encountered play the rogue equivalent of the 3 minute mage (I think it's called 10 min rogue or something), and during the fight where they pop everything I lose no matter what, unless I just happen to be soul link spec, and even then it's very close. After that, they're not winning for another 10 minutes
Napoleon Borntoparty alliance or horde, you’re going to have a hard time with rogues anyway. I’m a gnome lock and it’s quite useful having paladins around to cleanse dots and shit.. pros and cons, don’t let anyone scare you off alliance though, we gear quicker as less of us.
Control of succubus could be a better - there is no point to not using Stay instead of follow while figthing melee or heavy aoe like mage/elems coz of their aoe could kill her due to poor lifebar plus you are both in grenade range if she is on follow while keeping her at stay range makes her more dangerous for your opps.

Awesome content man, i just picked up my first warlock and finished my gear set thursday, can still use a few more MC pieces but ultimately its done. So i tried to pvp, got kinda rkt sc SM/RUIN so went sl to have more survive ability while i learn the class. Could you possibly share some of your favorite pvp macros? I saw one that looked like maybe you have death coil and net in a macro?
sm/ruin is pretty unforgiving in pvp if you mess up because you are squishy, but allows you to sometimes one shot people and do insane damage. I actually learned warlock playing SL first too when I was on private servers but the spec gets boring fast, it's much easier than sm/ruin or conflag. Macros: 1. felhunter self dispel 2. all in one pet macro (succ will charm, felhunter will spell lock, void will sacrifice) 3. mouseover macros for fear/seduce/spell lock/deathcoil. if i mouse over a target i can cc them without losing my current target

@@haunted8209 That is exactly what I mean, well see if classic makes it to BGs to begin with. Until wrath as alliance you simply can't use the succubus this way due to 70% of the servers being undead (good luck seducing/kiting/nading then seducing again while a horde can just...seducing). BG is definitely better as alliance though.
@@DrapNa ya the stun resist is really overpowered, especially because rogues are hardest for lock to beat. For lvling the most important thing is to just have improved corruption first. I prefer to go for SL for solo/questing after that.

Found an addon called neatplates that also shows the cooldowns for the dots , but never found the addon for trinkets

Is DS/ruin still a decent option forr pvp? Dont want to respec that much and friends have told me ds ruin will be easier for mara farms etc
it's viable for casual pvp just not optimal. Best pvp specs are Conflag/SL/Smruin

This video only really shows how much less finesse you need to play warlock on horde, at least in wpvp. Try doing the same on alliance.
Horde has to deal with pally dispelling everything in bgs. Both sides have pros and cons but I agree solo world pvp is a bit better for horde
