We head to Düsseldorf to experience one of Germany's top 10 Christmas markets! We eat and drink as much as we can, including bratwurst, mulled wine, latkes and so many more delightful christmas treats! This is our last vlog in the Europe series, but thank you for watching all 15 parts!

If you want to eat a Bratwurst the German way, you need to put mustard on it.
Ketchup is for the weirdos and for fries.
I am German and I hate mustard. So, am I a weirdo? :P

Ok, sometimes I also use ketchup like sauces.
When you have a BBQ and you had a sausage with mustard already.
But this is not the common way.
If someone wants to try a common German Bratwurst, you need mustard on it.

Why not? It's perfectly fine, lots of people do. Don't pretend it's some abnormal thing to do.

Actually quite nicely done. Only the choice of music is completely wrong. It was more southern Germany than D'dorf. (and outdated)
You get almost no german food... And the quality is at most less on such markets. Only the prices are higher. Much higher.
Of course the deposit is high but if it would be too cheap people woldn't bring back the cups.
Kaiserwurst = Emperor's sausage.
A Käsewurst usually has cheese inside...🤣🤣🤣 Maybe it was a Käsekrainer (called in South Germany and Austria of course).🤔
Käsekrainer are called „Eitrige“ in Austria.
And i think it's beautiful.

@@Headhunter-5000 hm. I disagree. It is Bavarian music. The Christmas market they visited is in Düsseldorf. Düsseldorf is not in Bavaria. And Germany has at least more States than only Bavaria. It might fit the topic for US people who think "typical German = Bavarian", but that isn't true. In my opinion Christmas music would have fit the topic of the video way more!

The Bratwurst you ate was typical for festivals like a christmas markets (pre cooked and not coarse). I prefer a course one with mustard or a Currywurst.

Hey Lilly and Josh….chanced upon your Cotswolds video an hour ago due to that area being a favourite series of roads for our Supercar reviews channel (my son and I run a Supercar channel: RichReviews)…I love the super friendly way you talk to camera so much so I watched all your videos in this series in one go and loved them all…keep going with this type of travelogue videos, you have good rapport. Really enjoyed your mini tour of europe especially UK and Belgium (I am half Belgium)…thank you for the cool content.

Visiting some German Christmas markets should be a must for anyone’s bucket list. I’m on a tour, just been to, Munich, Salzburg, Nürnberg, Leipzig, and Dresden. All amazing, but all slightly different, Nürnberg my favourite so far. The street food is fantastic, so many savoury and sweet choices. If I lived in Germany I’d be dieting for 11 months, just to make up December. Heading to Berlin tomorrow, it’s been a great week so far, dreading the scales next Tuesday!
