Arata the kyoto 1st year who came with todo, had an appearance in mechamaru's imagination when he was talking with panda in S1 episode 16. He's nitta's little brother (the blond supervisor). Both siblings putting their life on the line for sorcerers when they can't fight makes them that much more admirable.
So many people misunderstand mahito when he tells yuji that both of them are the same. It's not about killing and saving people. It's about them acting on instinct for what they believe is right.
They're so blinded by their hatred for Mahito that most reactors don't even bother to try to understand what he means from his speech, nor even giving his VA his flowers. Nobunaga Shimazaki best VA this episode and at the top in general imo. Always makes me laugh when they say they're gonna kick Mahito's ass or beat him up, like they aren't gonna be transfigured in 2 seconds lmao. Regular humans are useless against Mahito, just fodder to him. He's the worst curse to encounter irl aside from Jogo.
Tbf manga readers were like this too when these chps first came out, we've been able to sit with the entirety of shibuya for years, I can't really fault someone if they're not picking up on every single thing on just a first watch-thru
Also mahito and yuji both came into this world of sorcery around the same time they are new born in it in a way both have amazing potential and are natural born rivals
Jujutsu sorcerers fight curses with curses. Mahito fights humans with humans as his weapons. It’s a super interesting character parallel when you factor in that what sorcerers are doing can be just as “creepy” from the disaster curses perspective of being reborn over and over and wanting to “win the war” against sorcerers.
Lol the fact you hate him shows Mahito is one great villain. Funny that he is a curse born from human hate, envy, etc. But Gege is the villain here 😠😭 Yuji needed someone. 🥺 And Todo was it. And Todo looks more like a good assist for Yuji since Yuji is the one who can hurt Mahito’s soul. Oof next episode is gonna be madness. I realized what Nitta said to Yuji is actually the best advice for the whole arc: “Dont get your hopes high”
It's funny that everyone hates Mahito and he represents the hatred of humans, that feeling is basically where he was born. So basically we are making him stronger with each episode. :(
Mahito meant that both he and yuji follow their Innate Instincts, Mahito kills people according to his Instincts, Yuji saves people instinctively, in that regard Yuji is Mahito,"You are me"
Todo doing some plus ultra black flash just to have zero dmg is amazing it doesn’t matter if he didn’t dmg mahito the important thing is the way he delivers🗣️🔥🙏🏻
Mahito and Yuji are the same. because Mahito is fighting for curses and Yuji for humans, is the same shit only in different sides of the war. and remember Mahito is a curse born from human malice, so we in certain ways are mahito. that what make him a GOOD Villain.
I feel like Mikey (I assume that’s how you spell it, my apologies if not) has really good intuition in this show. I won’t say what he does and doesn’t get right, but there’s been several episodes this season and even something he says in this one that he nails on the head. And yeah, Choso is a cool character. He’s a fan favorite in the manga, and I definitely see him being a fan favorite for anime onlys as well. 3 more episodes and still got several surprises this season waiting to happen
Y'all should be grateful that Mahito isn't an older curse because a lot more people would've been dead already, Todo, Yuji and Mahito has officially become my favorite characters in JJK, including the goats Maki and Toji. Also, Mahito is one of the best villains in anime history, hands down, I don't care what nobody gotta say, unfortunately this fight and this season will be over soon.
But hold we haven't see him achieve the true essence of his soul, wich honestly since he was made out from himan hatre, meaning the more itadori hate hom and the people he fight the more he get powerful, and it ironi how we hate him, like this right here is a piccaso made villain, he made out of hatred from human and he is also hated by everyone, and his true essence is exactly that, my theory.
I mean it wasn’t necessary because she was weak, it was just because Mechamaru didn’t want anyone of them to be at risk, and like he said the situation was on another whole scale with special grades casually levelling the city, I mean he sent his whole class + teacher away so they wouldn’t be in Shibuya not just Miwa. And Kamo is pretty strong and he still was sent with the rest. Not saying she isn’t weak but the reason she was left out wasn’t because of her being weak.
@@monkeyeknom527 Mechamaru and todo are the strongest in the Kyoto school and yet they're out of commission, the rest of them would only be useful like inumaki dealing with transfigured humans but all of them would've gotten killed since there's a very high chance they would encounter would one of the disaster curses, sukuna or fake geto, just like all the main cast have encountered with at least 1 of them, so they are in that sense uselessfor the bigger picture
So when Mahito says he and Yuji are the same, its Akin to saying Love/Hate are the same. They're not true opposites like apathy. They both are deeply rooted emotional ties rooted in the appreciation/disgust of the subject. Yuji, kills curses regardless of their sentience or value of their creation. Mahito is a mirror of that. Humans treat lesser sentience like cattle to be killed at a moments notice without regard for their own experience. Curses, born from humanity, see themselves as higher predator on the food chain. People are just like cattle to be killed and harvested for their lack of ability. Sorcerers are the exception or at least that's what the war is about for the curses. Who really is the top of the food chain and why is human life more valuable than a cow's. Sure negative emotions can be harvested from humanity but they're not required for curses to exist, just an acceleration to their inevitably. Mahito, again specifically created by humanity fear of death and eachother, is trying to prove he isn't dependent of humanity like Jogo, Hanami, or Dagon and is a "true curse." It's Akin to human need to define a divine purpose for our lives and creation beyond the sake of "biological inevitably." So they're Akin. Similar but mirrored. Its some deep philosophy that offers levels complexity and simplicity for everyone to understand.
@@L0stwitn0nam3 I get you but curses are created Cuz of human negative emotions ,without humans there would be no curses, what do you mean they are not required?lol
@@sohammitra1951 some curses like Dagon, Hanami and Jogo are reborn without humanity since life exists. The natural disaster curses are reborn regardless. Jogo explains it after Toji kills Dagon. Mahito is literally trying to prove he's not just made from humans fear but is a "true curse" that exists without humanity. Which is parallel to humans desire to prove our lives have divine purpose and not just circumstance of evolution. There's a difference from, curses are ONLY born from humans and curse are born from humans. That distinction is key especially considering what Jogo revealed.

Yes and he's Kyoto's only 1st year. The only students left to be revealed are the 3rd years at Yuji's school.
@scargreatness8457 if I remember correctly, Kirara and Hakari are the only third years.

I mean they are just going off of what mahito himself said . As amanga reader I thought the same as them till the end of the fight
Can we give credit to Mahito’s voice actor though? He went OFF! What a performance.
Nobunaga shimazaki is the 🐐
@@Saucenoat From Yuno to Baki to Mahito man what a diverse range of characters haha
You can definitely tell the VA was having a blast in the booth
True his range is incredible, but to be honest he pales in comparison when it comes to conveying emotion like Yuji’s VA has been doing this season imo

Normal Healing won't help when you have a gaping hole through your head and your breathing and pulse has stopped
all the streamer forgot that those people in subway are stunlocked because of gojo domain expansion, the normal human cant move

Miwa being useless isn't really a gag anymore, having your comrade leave you out of Shibuya on purpose because you're too weak must be the worst
