  • In the Fall, my Rose of Sharon is finished blooming and has dropped half of their leaves. I like to prune them in the late Fall or early Winter to encourage new growth and lots of blooms in the Spring.

You mentioned they are easy to propagate. Could you provide a "how-to" on that? I have one beautiful shrub right next to our kitchen door, and I love it! I would really like to grow this elsewhere in our yard. Thanks for any feedback, it's appreciated!

Rose of Sharon prefers the sun- I have a couple bushes that get partial shade and they get spindly.

Hi, I’ve probably made over a dozen bushes over the years- I take a cutting about 6-10 inches long and put it in water. It usually takes a few weeks before you see little roots starting to form. I will include a how-to video soon- thanks for watching🌺🦋🦋
