kudos for doing a best 23, you are spot on, rugby has evolved into a 23 man squad more and more. Saffa influence maybe, but clear as day that it was the full squad that one the game for Ireland.
So happy someone agrees with me in the front row! I picked exactly the same with 50/50 on whether to pick Kelleher or Sheehan but Ferrari was in my team of the week because he was solid in the scrum! Absolutely brilliant!! Him Nacho Brex and Tommaso Allan were brilliant for Italy! Huw Jones was outstanding and the best player of week one I feel and that's coming from an Ireland fan 😂😂🇮🇪🇮🇪
Darcy Graham I think was the best 14 and 2nd best winger this weekend behind James Lowe, he had the most defenders beaten out of everyone and he just creates something out of nothing
No he was right: it's easier to be good in a dominant team than in a weak team. Morgan was the sole welsh player able to beat french defenders. They should clone him 14 times !
I guess its hard to put 2 players of the same team in a team of the week but in terms of most improved player since November, I would give a shout to Ronan Kelleher. Maybe England's defensive lineout was weak, but his lineout return was back to the point that you expect a top hooker to be. Also, it was a well taken try, its not his fault that Beirne gave him that extra help. I got the impression when you did the player rankings that Kelleher was holding on to the top ten position on past performances, but i think he did enough to hold on to the 2 shirt for Edinburgh with Sheehan as the impact replacement.
Yeah, he was a bit nasty wasn't he ? But that's not like him ! Never had a red card before, dunno why he did that. I think he asked his mates to kick him in the ar..e (or shoud have 😆!).

Statistically, if you only count Lions eligible players, Jack Crowley has been the best Fly Half in the Champions Cup this season. If he can keep up his form and break back into the Irish team not only do I think he travels for the Lions but he's got a solid chance of starting.
After watching the France highlights back, are straight red cards not allowed to be given anymore? There was no mitigation whatsoever that Paul Williams could have made for it at the time of the decision.
I think they still are, but the referee decided to go to the bunker rather than spending ages to deliberate. It’s the right decision and the right outcome. Unless it is a straight foul like a punch, I’d rather veer on the caution and go to the bunker for such a big decision. This way, it doesn’t affect the tempo of the match, so the referee gets 👍 👍 for me

I'm not convinced about Finn yesterday Andrew. He certainly had some familiar class moments, but I thought he was culpable during the Italian comeback to 19-19 (as excellent as Italy were during this spell). I'm just not convinced that having that co-captain responsibility totally suits him. Saying that (knowing Finn) he'll knock that all into touch and have a sublime game v the mighty Ireland!
Are you blind like finn.throwing balls around fancy passing without looking. Threw the ball to italy which they scored a try. Finn was rubbish . Fact.😂😂😂😂 his egotistical mindset cost scotland another try.he went for glory at one stage when all he had to do was pass the ball on outside. Finn Russell was dire.😂😂😂😂😂😂
He is an absolute liability. Arrogant, overrated one man band wildly throwing and kicking the ball to nobody. Yes he has occasional flashes of brilliance but the best position for the team is him left playing club rugby
He didn't have his best game yesterday. He did a lot of the basics perfectly, but when he tried things they just didn't come off. He'll be back the next game though, as he always does, and when it's crunch time.
I think they were on par, Park is so consistant and smart but Dupont has more assets: kicking, speed, defence, strength and has more to show in the weeks to come. I can't wait !
I think there’s no choice France will need to drum England to a 50 points win like in 2023. Wales will give England Italy and Scotland even Ireland a tough time. Wait and see…
I didn't think Tom curry was even Englands best player, against Ireland. I would have given motm to: Gibson Park; Lowe; Genge; Itoje; or Porter before Curry.
@ I get the point, ofc . Just Beirne does and can play 4, where meafou never and can simply cannot play 4 the guy is an oak. Good video regardless of that.

Only Itoji would start. Scotland have 5 WC pkayers. There are two WC English players not eligible for the Six Nations. Bring them back. Change that stupid rule.
Because it's about who was best in their position out of all 6 teams, which has little to do with who won. Tom Curry and Ollie Lawrence were, in my opinion, the best in their position, just as Huw Jones was in his. Cherry, Fagerson, Darge, Kinghorn were all pipped by other players - not English players I might add :)

The obsession with Antonie Dupont is becoming ridiculous. Yes WE GET IT...he's the best 9 in the World etc...but seriously, he wasn't the best 9 on the weekend. Jameson Gibson Park was excellent for Ireland once again and was the heartbeat of the team of their performance and rightfully win Man of the Match in a much bigger and tougher game than what Dupont had to face in his 57 minutes. Seriously, we get it...he's a generational talent but the obsession is crazy. Dupont faced a pathetic team and played 57 minutes, and didn't even win Man of the Match, whilst Gibson Park won Man of the Match in a much tighter and tougher game.
I don't think Dupont needed to play a full game. I reckon it's a smart thing to not give too much away too quickly. The French didn't play anywhere near full throttle and still won so easily. He seems to be able to do things that very few others can. That (for me) is the sign of an outrageously good player. I don't think it's too often that the whole rugby world holds a player up on a pedestal like this.
I agree with all of your choices but due to his influence on Scotland’s win, I would replace Rory Darge with Jac Morgan. He made turnovers at the perfect moments, carried all day and tackled like a monster. Morgan for all his efforts was alone among a sea of mediocrity.
