We all know that if you want to join the armed forces of your respective country you must undergo some rigorous training before you are considered qualified. For the majority of us, the thought of waking up before sunrise, going for a long run in the cold and rain and having a rather abrasive drill instructor yell at us for most of the day is a bit too much to take. Basic training aside, even fewer of us would be able to cut it trying to tackle the specialized training required by the various armed forces. Such training goes far beyond multi-mile runs and an obstacle course. These drills really push human endurance to the edge - both physically and mentally.
In the world of strenuous military training and drills some stand out over others. To make their soldiers a bit more prepared, a little stronger or mentally tougher, some nations’ armed forces have a drill or two that really seems over the top. In certain instances, observers can be left wondering why on earth anyone would voluntarily endure such a brutal practice. From regular forces to special units, these following military drills definitely qualify as brutal. Potentially causing physical or mental harm, some of these drills come potentially close to killing those involved. It’s all enough to make most of us appreciate our boring office job just that little bit more.

One of the test is you must swim with hand and foot tied up, and you must swim on the sea about 5 to 7 km from ship to any beach that trainer decided.

My father works in the army. I've known a lot of his coworkers, and one was a sniper who had to wear the suits and such. He said it can be easy once you get used to it, but your first few times is terrible. The Army and military in general can do some pretty crazy exercises, no need to doubt it.

I think the russian one isn't too bad. I mean, getting shot is scary, but it doesn't require anything of you. You just gotta stand there, look pretty, and get shot.

It's smart, it takes a lot of mental strength to let yourself get shot, but it isn't the hardest task, I'd imagine there's more difficult ones out there.
most people think that it is ok because of the bulletproof vest, but the thing is that it hurts more than you can think of. there is actually been some cases where people have died of the impact of the bullet.

I'm very capable physically and could endure a few of those trainings, but I don't think I could handle the mental stress some of those would imply to me.
I trained a kind of martial arts in the Antartica, under the teachings of Thomas Barro Mitose (Kosho Shorei-Ryū Kenpo). This martial art has a seal of being very difficult physically and mentally. For instance we had to train on the snow, almost naked and had to punch the ice till our hands bleed, then keep punching. After that, we had to make push ups with our fists instead of palms and after the set was done, punch the ground (icy rocks) over and over.
The other thing we made were abds, where our master will hit us on the stomach meanwhile we made the abs. He punched us with a bamboo stick. He also would train your weakness and take you to the limit, for instance you have a nerve in your biceps. Check it, if you punch yourself in the bicep, your arm is done for like 15 minutes and it will hurt you all the day. He would punch us till we feel no pain.
I did that training and still think I'm not ready to endure some of these test.
PS. I'm not a military, but I'm trained to kill in some ways, and to survive in the adversity.
PS2. Kosho Shorei-Ryū Kenpo was created by james mitose, who delivered kenpo in the united states. Kenpo it's a martial art very much like karate, but his son Thomas Barro Mitose (my teacher) bring it to the next level: the military level, and at the same time with a strong enphasys on spirituality (He somehow teached me how to control Ki or Chi, not in the dragon ball way, but in a very efficient way of controling the energy your body uses. Bruce Lee did this and this made him capable of multiplying his strength by a very few seconds).
PS3. I still think I could not endure some of the trainings we see on the video, most likely because they are very degradating human beings and also because you are going to kill in name of a country, which probably it answers the interest of your local elite.

Training in cold is not that hard because the body with the exercise compensates it, as long as you stay exercising, but training in cold water, without food in your stomach and a lot of sleepyness, thats really fckd up

A test in Indian Marcos training (ENDURANCE TEST) is that you are thrown into an extremely cold muddy pool and you can't come out of the water(Instructors constantly push you with sticks) all you gotta do to pass is really pass out and then cadets are rushed to the hospital. This shows the instructors the commitment of the soldiers and how they manage fear in potential life threatening situations.
