Really? Like when he made the USO SF before and lost in the 5th set? Or the RG SF 5th set? Or making the AO SF and losing to Djokovic in 4 tight sets? Or making the USO F before that? Or the AO SF before that?
Zverev can't compete against really aggressive players like Shapo, he can win players of his level like Medvedev, but not players like Alcaraz or Shapo, he would always look miserable when playing aggressive players.

It's the best attacking FH on tour currently I believe. Nobody can guess where is he aiming before the ball leaves his racquet!

Forehand especially. Shapo was toying with him during the crosscourt rallies with his backhand and inside-out forehand.
Lmao, it was a bad match. He has no technical shortcomings.
@@TheRafaelBond the forehand was a big issue for him compared to other top players, he used to mention it a fair bit. And the 2nd serve was down right losing him matches for a while. Great player but he really HAS had considerable technical issues for such a high ranked player, and spent the whole first part of this year improving on those and particularly his 'slow starts' in matches
