Top 3 most ludicrous takes of the week: 3. "The title "No Way Home" isn't applicable to Spider-Man", even though the film leaves the character with having lost everything including a way to return back home. 2. "Shrek is only popular because of the memes", when in reality the last film came out in 2010, well before meme culture became mainstream and the films were some of the most successful animated films of all time, especially Shrek 2 being a break-out success on all fronts as well as to this day being regarded as one of the best animated films of all time and also best sequels in general. 1. Batman in The Batman is portrayed as uniquely "vulnerable" even though he has substantial plot armour. For example the part where he slams headfirst into a metal bridge with all the momentum of jumping off a building and doesn't die or get caught by the police, the film treats an explosion in front of his face as a magic knock-out button for the plot to progress instead of a severe injury and Batman shrugs off all kinds projectiles but not when the finale doesn't allow him to. It's insane.
