Can I ask if this sr85 boat is suitable for 4S CNHL 5200mah battery with 90C discharge current? I think the 90 discharge current is a bit high so I'm wondering if it will burn other components?
@@TerrusRC Could you please give a simple explanation of handling difference? I got my brother the sr80 pro for Xmas and I'm going to get the 85 for myself.
@@geoffprince2258 A catamaran is more stable at full speed but can turn around more easily in turns, but nothing bad if you slow down enough. both are fun to drive it's just fun! enjoy!
Hey. Loved your video. I just had a SR85 Catamaran bought as a gift from my Mum. A bit concerned after not seeing many RUclips videos or reviews of it. I was wondering if you all had similar issues to RC Saylors or none at all. And does it achieve 56mph ? My first boat was. SR65 brushless from Volantex. I watched the CML distribution video for the SR85 and will follow setup and maintenance checks to be sure I have the least problems as possible. I wish more people would buy and review the SR85 because it seems to be a really great price for its speed and self righting for a Catamaran. How did you get the 50+mph speeds ? Did you have to do much to get it past 50 ? Did you adjust the prop up or down to get more speed ? I heard from other RUclipsrs it bounces a lot and people aren't getting near the speeds advertising on the box. Since I have one now would you mind sharing some tips or advice for me ? And is 5C doable without a new ESC ?
Great video. I really enjoyed that 😃✨👍
Thank you!! 😊

Is there much difference in speed between the sr85 and the sr80 pro? Or are they very similar?
the speed is quite similar, just the ride which is different between a catamaran and a v-hull
