They are beautiful bikes to be sure, but compared to other high end e-bikes they are still priced way too high. Also unless you live in an area with brand new pavement, front suspension is an absolute must with bikes this heavy. For the price, front suspension should be included:(
These are arguably the best e-bikes out there. They are worth every penny. However, for your own safety, be aware that these are very powerful bikes. Please let the bike shop know if you are a novice rider or are test-riding an e-bike for the first time.
Some gorgeous looking bikes, without a doubt, and some great technology, but, and you know there was a but, for the kinda money they are asking for these bikes there are a few areas that seem glaringly weak. A 48V system, come on, 52V is table stakes these days, for that price I'd expect 60V, and better than 13.6 Ah for the stock battery. Most of the models the front suspension is optional, really, and no rear suspension at all. The motors seem anemic, 35Nm to 52Nm. The Pinion gearbox & belt drive are very nice, and seems to be pointing towards what should be the stock drivetrain in the near future. Clearly these guys put form over function, which I'm sure is what many are looking for, I'm just not in that camp. Too many compromises in the name of good looks that detract from the value to me at any price. Thanks for bringing these bikes to my attention because it does point to some areas the industry is moving towards.
Some good points Richard! I think what inspires me is the level they are going to set the bar. At the end we all will win and honestly I'm so excited to see where the E-bike sector goes in a year from now. I love the belt drive instead of a chain. I can say I'm excited to get to review the ST3 Pinion in a few weeks!
Huge thank you to Stromer for inviting us to CABDA Expo East!

I completely agree. I received a review bike and it was DOA.

Are you kidding me! This is insane the amount of technology and a belt drive? That bike must sound amazingly quiet! I cant wait for your review man!
Thanks i totally agree Stromer will be featured on this channel the entire summer. We have some exciting things we are working on with them.
