Since you haven't got any facts on paper : palestinians(civilians) didn't start a war - the Hamas did. It's a stupid small militant group. As a response, Israel launched a full fledged military attack.
1) Israel's own intelligence department informed them that Hamas have cracked the israel defence dom and are preparing to attack - this was laughed off by the govt and they ignored it.
2) Simply based on video evidence, congress meets and UN meets, there were multiple instances where Israel was asked - if Hamas is your enemy , then go and find them and kill them. Why kill the kids and women? ...They couldn't reply.
Most countries such as US or India would have sent special forces and do laser target operation to rescue hostages - similar to Bin Laden.
3) The number of people bombed by Israel is already higher than what Hamas did. Yet their military wants to keep bombing empty schools and roads and shops...which may even kill the Israeli hostages along with Hamas.. why? Only almighty knows.
From an international relations standpoint, Israel is doing this just for fun. There seems no motive of what they are doing.

Absolutely! Even a retired navy seal taught people on RUclips to run away from a potential street fight. If I'm not mistaken, he told Joe Rogan that he'd do the same, even with his big built and skills, he said he'd not be so sure if the other guy hides a knife or a gun, so the best action to take is to walk or run away.
I mean it depends on the proximity. If the dude is close, you bet I’m gonna get that gun from his hand. Cause the minute I would turn to run he would shoot me in the back. In this scenario running is the least effective thing to do.

Some people say it's actually better to disarm a random person with a gun than a knife. You can hope that they are an idiot or haven't loaded it properly, whereas anyone can use a knife, if they want to stab you then they will.

It's better than nothing, but in reality if someone is coming at you with a knife and they want to stab you, you are going to get stabbed. Using Krav Maga technique or something might help you to survive, but you will have to hope you don't lose too much blood before an ambulance arrives.

Some years ago, I read an article about a Israeli army officer who, while on leave, saw a guy that was suspicious and tried to stop him.
The guy turned out to be a suicide bomber, and the officer, instead of running, pinned his hands so the guy couldn't push his detonation button.
And then proceed to kill him by bitting his neck to break the artery or the windpipe or something.
So yeah, for motivated and experienced people, fighting technique can work.
At the same time, I saw another guy who was something like a Krav Maga instructor (also army officer) who stopped a knife attack in a store. And the reporter asked him if he wasn't afraid he could get stabbed. His answer was that it's not about not getting stabbed/cut - because in a knife fight you WILL get stabbed/cut. It's only about not getting hurt too bad, and hurting the other guy much more.

So hey I’m from Israel and I’m training in Krav Maga and I can surely tell you it’s self defence not killing someone and it’s full of competitions and tests so it’s like karate but for your safety and yes high level belts do learn about dodging bullets and knives and it’s for all ages also it’s not that intense if you train almost daily

after signing up for Krav Maga classes I've realized the violence of that martial art, so and when I realized the mistake I had made, I changed classes, at the same center, for tai chi lessons and Yoga classes ( both were cheaper) and personally I felt more satisfied and balanced, because in the country I live (which is always in the top 10 of the safest countries) I don't necessarily have to learn to break someone's arm or crush someone's windpipe...

Krav Maga is nothing to boast about. That would be like training in an efficient style to rob, kill and oppress a population. Give it time and call in Bujinkan or something centuries later when the wound isn't fresh. But currently it is a style developed by Hungarian Jewish martial artists with the explicit intent to occupy Palestinian land and fight any (particularly) urban resistance to the death. At the very least it is too controversial to touch, but then again these Holywood types are either entitled or stupid. By the way, imagine if there was a Nazi gas BBQ technique...I think we would all pass on that class. Or at least totally sanitize its origin like we did with nuclear and rocket technology.
The israeli-palestinian conflict is a very delicate one, and both sides have their own extreme agendas which helps nothing and pushes away negotiations about peace.
But it seems that you ignored the palestinian way of killing which is exploding yourself in massively populated areas under the belief that you'll get 72 virgins for yourself in heaven (called 'Shahid'). There's also missiles fired by Hamas at civilian buildings (contrary to those the IDF fires to kill ONLY heads of Hamas, just like the americans did with Bin Laden. 'ONLY' means that the IDF warns civilians before these attack and tells them to get away so innocent people won't get hurt). Supporting Hamas means supporting blunt terrorism and antisemitism, I hope you realise that. Have you listened to speeches of Fatah, Hamas and Hizballah leaders and actually agreed with their way of thinking?
I had served at the IDF and saw how things work. The Krav Maga technique could be used for 'deactivating' a threat like a knife or a rock, not necessarily for killing as she's saying here.
