The case for the pnel is the reflectorr for the back of the panel when set up correcty. Using anything white or refective surface behind the panel at angel to focus the the refected light onto the back of the panel will increase the input. Photograpers use white to refect light to keep from having shadows in pictures. The back of the panel is designed to work with reflected light.

Thanks for the video. The rivets are called grommets. They are for hanging or securing panels when windy. Wow 180 watts. Very impressive.

Hi, thanks for that info, and yes I love this panel too, I plan to do some more testing on hazy and cloudy days and see how it holds, thanks for your support as well.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I tested this panel and was very impressed with the performance that I bought a second unit during a flash sale. Both provide an impressive amount of power. I highly recommend to watch videos how to use the reflective stand. During cooler weather I have seen my production go to 480w with both panels connected in series. I often recharge my River 2 Pro on one panel as it delivers close or over 200w. Great for camping outside my tent or cabin.
If you get a chance, watch what Ecoflow is doing in the European market with their hub micro inverter. I can see that product coming to the US for apartment users.
    Thanks again

Hi, yes I love my 220w panel too and I will checkout the Micro hub inverter in the European market too, sounds interesting. Thanks for your input to help out the community too, take care now.

I got 260 watts on my 220 solar panel today in upstate ny. It blew my mind that was from just the front.

Good review my friend. That was a great tip about checking the AC fast charging setting in the app to see if it affects charge rate on solar. I have a couple of Delta pros I got for a cabin. I also have an EcoFlow Mini. I just got solar panels today as part of my second Delta Pro purchase. I'm leaving the Delta pros and backup battery in their boxes since I need to move them in a trailer to the place where little be used. That should be probably in the next couple of months but probably later because snow at that time.
In the meantime I will test the solar panels with the Mini.

Hi, and thank you so much for the nice words. I would love to have a Delta Pro as well, last I checked they upped the batteries to Lifepo4 chemistry, which is excellent. You can never go wrong with power backup , because you never know nowadays. Thanks again and take care as well.

I built a frame for mine with wooden fence slats and connected it with 1/4 bolts and wing nuts. Then bought a folding stand on amazing for around $27. Just wasn’t crazy about the carrying case stand

Sounds like a nice build to me, and I do agree that they could have engineered the case with a better design. Thanks for sharing your input too, happy sunny days 😎.

@@ReviewsandTech which other solar panels would you consider performing the same or better at this price range and category? meaning around 200 to 250w range

@@91lifetime23 Hi, so far the EcoFlow brand had worked out well for me the best, although I just received another 200w folding panel which is much lighter, as I will be testing it soon on a sunny day and dropping that review as well. Good question and thanks for watching as well.

  • @larryc1616

Have you tried some aluminum foil reflectors for the back side so maybe you can get 300w out of both sides together?

    • @ReviewsandTech
      @ReviewsandTech  Год назад +1

Hi, that is a good idea, I will try it once we have a sunny day here, and yes I would love to get even over 220w, but we shall see and I will record a video doing that too, thanks for watching as well.

I just happened upon this video showing the 220 with the River Pro, which is exactly what I wanted to verify. IE I'm sure the panel will work but wanted to make sure. May want to add in your description, River Pro.
I run a 160watt but wanted the 220w as the 160 wasn't always keeping up with my needed load.

Hi, yes this solar panel works pretty good and I like it a lot, anytime you plug in a panel into a power station make sure the open circuit voltage and max amps don't exceed what the power station can receive when charging with solar, otherwise you will damage your MPPT built in solar inverter on the power station. Thanks for watching and input as well too.

My 220 bifacial panel sucks. I only get about 40 watts in bright sunlight in Florida with a brand new unit. Customer Service is totally non responsive. Save your money!

Hi, sorry to hear that, I had a defective unit and they replaced it without any issues and they paid for shipping too. I would email them and call them as well, I think they have very good customer service with my experience. Btw, what power station did you plug it into? I hope that helps and best of luck to ya too.

not worth it at all being very fragile, and also the warranty is awful. Try the BougeRV CIGS panel for a 10 year warranty instead of the one year on this panel
