I've always wondered why Peach's dress and face looked different in Smash. In the Mario series she looks cartoony of course, but in Smash she looks like she's in real life
@@sebastianhernandezvazquez4922 I'd say there's a few factors, but most of them stem from Melee. 1) Melee was one of the first Gamecube games, and it was a huge graphics jump from the 64 era. Peach's high definition 3d design and proportions weren't standardized yet. Melee was designed with an "All-Star, best of the best" mentality in mind with a bigger budget, so the dev team popped off whatever they could. Even Mario's overalls had texture in melee. 2) Melee was rated T for Teen, so they upped the fanservice by making Peach with more realistic, sexy proportions. 3) Peach is much taller than Mario in 3d canon, so they wanted to portray that difference in smash, while also adding variety in character sizes. Brawl went even further in points 1 and 2, while Smash 4 reigned in on her design to be more in line with canon.
I like Peach's modern design without a doubt, but one of things I've always wanted to see if they could harken back to her old design from the NES to the SNES to the N64 days. Like in Melee but update it to feel more modern- esque. But I also like her current design in the Smash Ultimate....despite it being the same one from Brawl visually speaking and design wise but with a fresh satin texture in the new installment.
It’s cool that they have hair physics in her idle pose in ultimate, but it just looks so weird, like yeah I know they’re trying to emulate her hair blowing in the wind, but it’s looks weird like it’s clipping...

3DS Can handle that much of graphics, but one thing that drives me crazy in the 3DS is her dress at the back it looks like she has something under neat her dress and it’s floating is really weird
Meanwhile Daisy look is similar to her modern look since Mario party 4 l wanted a costume based on Daisy look on Mario party 3 though with short hair like Mario SPORT games

Wii U Peach is the worst definitely lol Best Peach (Visually) 1.- Brawl: Various face expressions, perfect dress and hair physics that match the animations 2.- Ultimate: Beautiful and detailed animations, many face expressions and Toad is more expressive, however her dress and hair physics aren't the best 3.- Melee: The dress has smooth animations and they work correctly 4.- Wii U: Worst dress and hair physics, the animations don't match with her dress and they reused some Brawl animations and made them worst Best Peach (Competitively) 1.- Ultimate: Just a perfect character, all her moves can make combos and Toad is actually really useful, a good Peach player is impossible to beat 2.- Melee: Extremely broken Down Smash thanks to Melee's bad game design, all her aerials are really strong and her turnips can literally fly and her throws are perfect, however Toad is a completely useless trash, has good damage but bad launch angle, in some cases it combos into Down Smash 3.- Wii U: She's a little slow, but she's still a good character, Toad makes her bounce in the air for a second and it's the first game where it actually kills and has a good launch angle 4.- Brawl: She's slow and doesn't do much damage, Toad is a little trash, all her throws are not good as in the other games and her aerial jump is the shortest of all the entire history of Smash
Peach is usually one of the best-looking characters in the game especially in Brawl but why does she look so lifeless in Ultimate? I really hate her textures and she barely got any new facial expressions.
Lifeless? I think the opposite, Ultimate is the Smash game she has the most personality, and now she even moves her arms a little when she's idle instead of being still. And she already had too many facial expressions in Smash Wii U, they just didn't have new ones to add in Ultimate. But I respect your opinion, just wanted to point it out

Jen Taylor as Melee Peach is the best Peach to me. :) After Brawl they basically just recycled Peach’s same design ( Just tweaking her hair, dress, and face very little, but still looking exactly the same ) and using the same exact voice clips from Brawl three times, Smash 4 for the Wii U and 3Ds, and now Ultimate. (Smash 4 is my least favorite since she pretty much looks exactly as she did in Brawl and her moves are kinda the same and boring. I only like Ultimate’s Peach because of her updated appearance and not that much stiff and more flowy almost realistic movements really, but her taunts they lazily shortened for some reason which makes her look awkward doing them, that’s one of my biggest problems with her. Melee then Brawl would probably be my most favorite versions of her, while Ultimate Peach is in third place for me. Also the thing I don't like about Ultimate Peach is that I feel like they nerfed her and watered her down than the previous versions by: 1. If you don't get the aim perfect using her up B parasol attack for recovery, you can no longer reach for the ledge of a platform and you end up falling to your doom. T_T (This is a huge problem for me since I used to ALWAYS use this move for recovery, now I can't because they nerfed it and I end up looking like a complete idiot falling to my death now. T_T So dumb how Nintendo did this watering one of Peach's best moves down just to make her appear weaker. (also her parasol closes way too quicky now and hitting people with the parasol while in the air doesn't K.O. them completely anymore. T_T) 2. Her side attacks and up attacks (actually pretty much ALL of them) are also nerved and weaker now too, (No more K.O. CPUs in one hit like I used to, now you have to do it a few times. T_T) 3. CPU's kill me in basically 1 HIT. T_T (I used to be REALLY good as Peach in previous Smash games, but because of Nintendo nerfing her making her weaker, CPU'S (who are by the way are supposed to be dumb on level 1) can K.O me in one hit when I least expect it when I don't even have time to attack back. T_T)

I only like Ultimate’s Peach because of her updated appearance and not that much stiff and more flowy almost realistic movements really, but her taunts they lazily shortened for some reason which makes her look awkward doing them, that’s one of my biggest problems with her. Melee then Brawl would probably be my most favorite versions of her, while Ultimate Peach is in third place for me. Also the thing I don't like about Ultimate Peach is that I feel like they nerfed her and watered her down than the previous versions by:
1. If you don't get the aim perfect using her up B parasol attack for recovery, you can no longer reach for the ledge of a platform and you end up falling to your doom. T_T (This is a huge problem for me since I used to ALWAYS use this move for recovery, now I can't because they nerfed it and I end up looking like a complete idiot falling to my death now. T_T So dumb how Nintendo did this watering one of Peach's best moves down just to make her appear weaker. (also her parasol closes way too quicky now and hitting people with the parasol while in the air doesn't K.O. them completely anymore. T_T)
2. Her side attacks and up attacks (actually pretty much ALL of them) are also nerved and weaker now too, (No more K.O. CPUs in one hit like I used to, now you have to do it a few times. T_T)
3. CPU's kill me in basically 1 HIT. T_T (I used to be REALLY good as Peach in previous Smash games, but because of Nintendo nerfing her making her weaker, CPU'S (who are by the way are supposed to be dumb on level 1) can K.O me in one hit when I least expect it when I don't even have time to attack back. T_T)
Only difference is that Peach's shoulder parts of her dress has bows on it in brawl.

@@j_y06they also updated her dress to the dress she wears in the game cube and the DS games and they made it more realistic like the melee one.
