  • The Nanlite Background support allows you to permanently affix rolls of paper of vinyl backgrounds in your studio. The rolls can be easily raised and lowered to quickly change the background.
Please note: The system does not come with the Aluminium tubing, most papers come on a roll with their own inner core.

Why do you need to tape the the paper to the aluminum tube? To transfer the paper to the tube?

The lengths of tubing is not included in the kit, here they have purchased tubing and attaching the paper to it. In many cases (all the paper rolls we supply) there is a cardboard inner on the roll, which is used as the cross support. Cheers

Are you screwing these into a stud behind the wall or just into the dry wall? I am trying to install mines onto one of my garage walls with an 11ft clearance, but the my studs don't line up to where I want to hang this.

This video was sent to us by Nanlite Global to share. Saying that, I have the manual 3 roller system in my personal studio, on one side I could not get a stud, so I bought some timber and glued and then spreader screws that into place. I then attached the system to that and the wall. It has been up now for 6 months without any hassle and is used a few times weekly. Hope that helps.
