Get rid of Azam Khan, Iftikhar, Shadab, Imad, Haris, Saim Ayub, Md. Amir and replace those with promising players. Core of Babar, Rizwan, Shaheen, Fakhar, Naseem must not be tampered with.

I think you forgot what he did in 2023 odi world cup when he opened the innings. PCB tried with Saim and Haris on slow spin pitches of UAE where it's hard to score runs and only tried for 3 games. It's stupid to judge someone based on the performances of just 3 games. give them a lot of chances like Babar Azam and Rizwan got. We reached t20 World cup 2022 final without the performances of Babar, Rizwan, Shaheen. I think that was enough to tell you that team can win without these 3 as well.

Pakistani cricket board is controlled by Public opinion. If any players hits two or three sixes in PSL he is considered better and superior than other batter who comes from a process of development . But they forget it is easy to score in a league match on flat tracks with sub standard bowling like Harus Rauf run machine. Real test comes when they play international where they failed badly , recent example of this is Saim Ayub, Azam Khan, Usman Khan who were unstopable during PSL matches also they plays in league throughout the world but when it comes to international they failed badly and Pakistan is out of world cup. Think how bad system is how PSL is destroying talent .
So i think PCB should not focus on journalists, media, and public opinion but a proper structure should be develop, proper players from domestic, U19 should be in selection because it will provide you a batter with technique, balance and experience of cricket in every condition as you know same things happens in Australia they never choose their players based on BBL performances where most of the batters hit sixes and bats blastly but they prefer to go with process which is actually logical.
