Agree, I think. The new BAR group oil goes cloudy but recovers on settling. It seems to work well. That seal between the gearbox and pump is an issue! We have replaced 4 of them on different machines and I cannot really understand why they fail so quickly??? There is no pressure difference between the two boxes. Go figure??
Thanks for comment.... In my experience it's the HEAT is the root cause of pump seal failure....I also switched to 100% mobile synthetic gearbox oil much clearer and far less foaming What type of gearboxes and pump are you running?
@@CleanUpCrewcleaners Synthetic oil??? What type?? I was wondering how different engineering wise are the udor geraboxes...that are on the water dragons from Powerwashstore.com
Griffs Services (House & Building Soft Wash, Power Washing, Pressure Cleaning) From the picture they look very similar. I now use Nulon premium 80 / 90. I was using Penrite 80 / 90. We'll see if the new oil works better? What oil do you use? I wasn't thinking, but the BAR group oil 30 grade non detergent is for the pump. What do you use in your pumps? Cheers, Pete
In the gearbox I now use mobile 1 full synthetic 75W/90 mobiloil.com/en/gear-lubricants/mobil-1-synthetic-gear-lube-ls Much better than the conventional Valvoline The less evaporation Pumps I use General pump series 100 instagram.com/p/BcX2KerlZ-b/?igshid=z89kzb20an6y
I had a leaky gearbox on my pressure washer and I used John Deere Cornhead grease go check out the videos on it it is what you need if it's leaking
