You can see that he like other lawyers who have spoken on this matter is AFRAID of stepping on toes though they have all revealed one truth or the other about the judiciary and that is why Dele Farotim's fearless approach has to be appreciated. He started this struggle ready to risk it all. Nigerians need to rise to this occasion. That the judiciary is corrupt is well known and I believe change is possible

How does a Supreme Court set precedence, when it in itself does not follow its previous rulings? Instances abound where the supreme court of Nigeria did not follow its previous ruling to pass judgment on similar cases.
And yet when people call out Nigeria’s as “a jungle justice,” the likes of Shettima will open their latrine-mouths to call people unpatriotic.

One major challenge in our society is our joint conspiracy to sustain a system of lack of accountability. Sometimes, I think it's embedded in our culture. We have this cover-up culture that we directly and indirectly enable. We people speak out against a societal ill, we tend to gaslight them for speaking up yet claim we want a system of accountability. Rather than collectively spotlight that system, we want a solo sacrificial lamb to go against an established system to prove what is systematically concealed. And we ask the stupid question 'how did we get here?'
