You are the 1st to explain a yellow diamond and I can understand
We're glad the video was helpful!
Beautiful diamonds! Great synopsis display. Thank you! 💎
We're glad we could be of assistance : )
Great Video Jonathan ( for a start !). the fancy colored Diamonds are always Judged Face up. and the most important thing is the Cut or to be more accurate, NOT having the voids (windows). the Shapes that really bring the color up are Radiant and Modified Cushion. I wish you had a XYZ or cape color in Radiant to compare with them face up. BTW // a secondary tone like Brownish yellow or Grayish Blue really kills the price!. however a Purplish Pink is a very nice color and much sought after. stay away from ugly ZIMIS ( Zimbabwe stones) the certs call them natural Green too. even a Slight Fluorescence has negative effect on the sparkle of fancy yellows. We can never rely on the cert (yes, GIA Lab) to be close to accurate on the Fancy color so we Should judge with your own eyes. People put too much emphasis on the color of the Diamond and forget about the importance of Sparkle a diamond supposed to have. There is definitely a Difference between a Yellow Sapphire and a CNARAY Yellow Diamond. there is a difference Between a Blue Sapphire and a Blue Diamond and we are not talking COLOR.
+Ben Kaye Good points sir.
Great video love fancy colored diamonds have 2 yellow.
Very good info.
thanks matt
It’s the background music for me 💪

You're welcome. We're glad the videos are being put to good use!
Exelente colores
how much 1 carat, Z color , 3X EXCELLENT price ? thanks
Awesome! I've been waiting for a video like this on youtube. You should write a description and mention the color intensities. Fancy Dark is actually the grade after Deep, btw. Deep and Dark aren't actually any more intense than Vivid, they just have darker tones. The Hope Diamond is Fancy Dark Grayish Blue, for example. The Wittelsbach was Fancy Deep Grayish Blue before its recutting (from 35.56 to 31.06 carats) and Fancy Deep Blue after.
Eu tenho
Yellow diamonds mainly go to Taiwan because local culture believes the color would bring in wealth and good fortune. By the way your video is very informative.
We appreciate that interesting information and are glad that the video was helpful!
I'M SCARED!
I like the one on the far right. Pretty!!
We agree ; )

If I found this in real life, it would be free👍😍
excellent explanation, question do yellow fancy diamonds have fluorescence?
Good Question.. Yes, some fancy colored diamonds can have fluorescence.
I have have yellow diamons bilong at 250 grams at natural no indicate other minerals
In your expertise, what do you think fancy intense yellow VS2 1 ct ( with GIA ) would be a fair price? I am trying to find one to compare, but I have not had luck. And I’m not too familiar with the price range between the different types.
Good question.. The price really jumps up when reaching into that "intense" range and the cut quality has a lot to do with the price as well. A lesser cut quality might sell for around (10-15k) while a higher cut quality might be more like (15-20k). My apologies for offering such a vast range, but the prices seem to be all over the place with these on my wholesale end with the current selection being limited on top of that. So, I hope my estimates helped to offer you a loose idea of what range you'd be looking at.
Hi friends
Hey do you have an one on one coaching program teaching how to invest in diamonds. Thanks
Hmm... now there's a good idea for a show!
Müthiş, muhteşem...
Hello
Does anyone see the difference between intense and vivid?
Those colors are very close to each other. The main difference is the slight color tone. In my opinion, fancy vivid has a slight orange hue while fancy intense looks super yellow.
Hello I inherited very interesting old jewelry with stone I read that X-rays can be identified I took some photos with X-rays and the rays pass over the stone, we do not have an expert and I want to ask if it is diamonds I can send you a clear photo to see if possible to sell--Thank you
Hi. It would be hard for us to tell from a photo, but I'd recommend going to your local jewelry store and having them test the diamonds with a diamond tester.
@@DiamondInfoMan I have a tester I can show you--please email I send you
You can email matt@goodoldgold.com and Matt will be happy to further assist.
Not a real difference here between intense and vivid.
Can yellow diamonds be artificially enhanced to make them more yellow? I was just watching another diamond channel, where they were showing a selection of yellow (and 2 orange) diamond rings, & they were a really strange bright yellow, much more yellow than the fancy vivid, & they had a sort of slight greenish undertone to them. Something about them just looked very unnatural
+chris green Philly Hi Chris. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! In answer ... yes. Diamonds can be radiated to intensify color. Also diamonds grown in labs (laboratory grown diamonds) are growing some really intense yellows as well. I have a video up on these actually that we shot for a client.
chris green Philly i think they absolutely can
No Sir ! around 11:14 , 3 pcs on your right hand are not fancy intensive & vivid. They are only fancy .
I can’t believe this person managed to poof Yellow Diamond!
Brasil
Great video, but the background music makes it hard to hear the commentary.
Thanks for the feedback.. We agree and have cutout the background music as of lately.
Who poofed yellow diamond?!
Matt did.
Jk.
Anyone can give me a price for a 2.18 carat brownish yellow faint diamond?
Sure, we can offer a retail estimate. What shape is the diamond? Also is it GIA graded or perhaps uncertified?
@@DiamondInfoMan it is GIA certified. shape I believe is a cushion style
The price depends on the clarity grade. But if it's around a VS2, I'd say somewhere between the 8k to mid-9k range.
@@DiamondInfoMan clarity is an S12
Finish
Polish = good
Symmetry = good
Fluorescence = faint
Thanks for your help. Appreciate it.
How rare would a pure purple fancy deep be
That's a great question. Purple fancy deep diamonds are very rare. My global database of around 1.5 million diamonds has only 87 of them currently available in the world. Most of them are under 1ct..
@@DiamondInfoMan dang lol they sound purty
@@strawberrymilk2532 Lol, indeed : )
Dep yellow
Cmon matt :/
The vivid is barely a vivid. A top vivid is something else. And costs in that size over a million $s.
That's because it's cut is not good. But the color is a perfect vivid.
