Hello, I made the Directed Panspermia mod 1:50. It's a silly name, but it's a legit scientific concept, with proponents such as Sagan and Crick (of double helix fame), where organic matter is seeded into the atmosphere to create a viable biosphere. 12:14 What is supposed to happen is that you have a decision to use energy credits to add "Terraforming Candidate" to your world, and then you can terraform it like a vanilla barren planet with Terraforming Candidate (as shown in the mod page screenshots). I've not encountered the error depicted in the video (and neither have the commenters on the Steam Workshop), so presumably it's a mod conflict. But I'll have to look into it if I get more reports. Thanks for looking at my mod!
Just if you are interested, i took the MOD mod apart, it mainly consists of event fixes for some mods like ACOT, Warshipgirls and some others making it a bit simpler, allowing warshipgirl type characters to have 80 trait points and 270 max traits and some extremly broken traits (10kx build speed on anything etc.), some event chains of other mods where changed as well, stats of some army mods where changed, the limit for special modded ships was removed, Only visible in vanilla was the Max Civs of 20 and 8 Ethics.
Imagine making a private mod, stating that its private and because of that people get interest and tear it apart and tell everyone what it contains... lmao
The combat full control mod is actually nice. I've always wanted for my ships to not DIRECTLY ENGAGE INTO A FIGHT HEAD ONE instead of just doing what I want
The Battleships with Artillery-Computer, and the Titans are especially bad. Let's charge into the enemy, full speed! Oh shit, we're coming in to close, full reverse! Oh, shit, now we don't have any firing arc anymore.... thanks for nothing.
I usually use Hangar Cores för that, but you have to make sure you have enough weapon's range, otherwise the ships will just float around out there doing nothing. ^^
Yeah you can never run away from a battle if they have range on their guns. The carriers were already a broken concept. The covettes are already the strikecraft of stellaris.
All the Standard Template Constructs and the Manufactorum Cybernetica/Geneseed Bunker sounds like it was from the Imperium mod you downloaded - very much 40K things there.

Very brave of you to do this. I mod Civ VI and that workshop is just as cursed. These are the manmade horrors beyond mortal comprehension that we were all warned about.
I like how anticlimactic the unlabeled mod ended up being. Just a cheaty mod that uncapps civic choices and adds the ability to research building slot techs repeatedly... I guess.
The combat computer fix fixes how ships behave, translation as follows Picket: mostly used on smaller ships, change it so it only counts S and M slot weapon’s median Line: mostly used on bigger ships, change it so it only counts L slot weapon’s median Artillery: now it actually stay at long distance based on longest range weapon equipped, instead of “median” The artillery part is the key, the median paradox means is the middle slot of the ship, not the mathematical median, so if you’re fighting Prethoryn and you design your battleships to have tachyon lance with point defense to counter the swarm craft and missile, congratulations, your battleships will use the range of the point defense and charge straight into the swarm then retreat to longer distance, they’re all dead at that point I honestly don’t know why paradox hasn’t fix this yet, artillery core’s behavior is a well known problem, why would players need to retreat to using carrier core for the effect of artillery core? Btw in the case of against starbases, artillery ships don’t just stay at longer range, they circle it, rarely pointing their head towards starbase itself, using naked battleships or cloud lightning? have fun watching your X slot weapon not firing for years because of their firing arc
I think the combat computer fix might be about a rumor I heard Namely the carrier computer allegedly doesn't stay a median range, but at the range of the weapon slot in the middle of the blueprint (potentially a low range point defense)
The Idea of a "kamino" like planet type, where rapid pop growth speed could be exclusively set up on a particular world is very interesting! Perhaps it could be its own planet deaignation with its own trade-offs? That would be a great addition imo.
reminds me of the crucible worlds that machine empires can set up, i wish you could do something similar with normal empires if you go bio with cloning.
Stellaris mods are a wonderfully dumb thing. I once had an experience where I had a mod that added a lot more civics, one that massively increased building slots and a mod that basically buffed rogue servitors. It was all fun until I got negative empire size and I started to outperform everyone. On a single planet.
This video is very cool! Most youtubers and people plays most popular mods, but you did the opposite. This may encourage people to play less popular mods.
ACHIEVEMENT SERIES STARTS 4TH FEB! Subscribe and notifications on so you don't miss it :D It's going to be painful
so you have choosen death?
I can't wait for 20 episodes of trying to get the galatron :')
In the calendar 🥸
Good… now get a mod that adds over 300 achievements
never actually thought something I made would make it onto a stellaris channel lol
Which one did you make?
Could you make a Un Terraforming Mod?
Was it MOD?

Thanks! It was highly likely a mod compatibility issue as err lots of new mods used xD looks great though!

Thank you for solving the mystery
A true hero
What I want to know is what UI mod that guy was using that 20 civics was actually usable.
270 max traits... are those people okay?

Chinese and/or anime mods are the dark energy of the Stellaris Steam Workshop: they make up the vast majority of mods and nobody understands them
Anime mods were the soul of civ 5 , not that many for civ6. But the chinese invasion is in all games. They make good wonders though.

I see chinese words in the workshop and my first thought is how badly will this hurt my computer?
CK3 has the same issue
Well... This went about as well as expected
Repeatable system surveys is really fun for tall empires and void dwellers
I am little bit disappointed that "for private use" wasnt just huge ding dong.
Ngl I did a double take when I saw Starsha from Space Battleship Yamato as a mod.

I have 600 hours and a solid zero achievements. If you start an achievement series, I will join you!

The advanced kiting combat computer...
Congratulations on 40k subs!
Being able to spam clone vats and machine assembly should be a thing. Maybe add love hotels as an early organic pop growth option for balance
Oopsies 40k subs surpassed. Good luck with the all achievements running!
You know, moving back to campus, I think I left my heresy detector at home, but I think I can hear it from here.

Their is a united Federation mod on the workshop that you have to make your Federation level 5 to change to United Federation
Should do a clone wars play through with some planets with only clone vats and with the clone Origen

You should try using the Starnet mod on Grand admiral, it’s super hard
