my only concern here is wakeone. they should not waste these girls' talents.
I don't understand how other Fuko "fans" thought she would be the Producers Pick. Like hello? Did we watch the same show? In Part 1, that could've been a possibility, since she was always praised after missions; (After-Like, Bad Boy, Fine, IWALY) but in Part 2, it was clearly evident that the producers didn't have eyes for her anymore and they shifted their attention to the other contestants that were improving or trying new concepts. (But yes, I understand Fuko wasn't given a new concept to try out, since most of the missions were assigned by producers, so that's not her fault). If these "fans" really wanted her in the debut lineup, instead of just assuming she'd be a producer pick, they should've actually voted for her, that way she could've had a guaranteed spot, and wouldn't have had to hope she could've been chosen.
In the last mission she ruined her chance of being producers pick since she had to switch parts because she couldn't do the English rap and that made the judges realize for the last time she is not versatile + if the group was for 7 she would have just never been in there but if it was 8 she would, she just didn't stand out more than the other 7 ❤
It seems that as well, but I don't really blame Fuko, It was neither her native tongue nor her second language. Giving her an English rap was just never the smart choice in the first place. I feel Fuko could probably rap with how much she had learned Korean, but with her having so very little knowledge about English, it just never would've worked.

for saebi i think she could have also a lot of center moments but she wouldnt be the official center or co-center

a lot of people might say jeemin or jungeun might be a better leader but personally mai is a hard worker and would hype the members up when they are sad and she is also one of the oldest members so it will also make sense if she is leader
I agree with you!!! I feel like this group will make history. Mai will be the first ever foreign leader too! Though, I think sarang will get trained for the main rapper because it may put pressure on koko and usually idols don't get 2 main roles unless it's a smaller group.

This line up really is the perfect combination it’s so balanced that it works perfectly. Regardless of my number 1 picks not making it (being yuju yeeun and yui) I’m incredibly happy with this line up and wouldn’t change it for the world.
although im devasted that fuko didn't debut, i still really really love the lineup, every single member is so talented and likeable and has the star quality

the thing is koko has been criticised a lot for her Korean prononciation, so they’ll probably give main rap to sarang since she is korean

I gen 100% agree with you expect for the fact that Mnet edited the show so the talented people would debut and not only visuals, many contestants were just completely pushed under the bus although they were talented! Not to mention that judges don‘t prefer talent over visuals, they prefer possible potential, and impact (that‘s why Mai and Saebi were the pd picks)
i wish sujung´s choreo for rain on me had won, it was so much more entertaining, as much as i like mai, sujung deserve atleast the recognition for what she does best: dance.

Agreed. She did have a problem w her attitude but she improved heaps throughout the show and defo deserved to debut. I feel like a lot of people say we’re falling for mnets editing but i don’t think most people care about the Jungeun “beef.” It was her moping about not participating that riled people up in the first place

Sarang is "THE ALL-ROUNDER ", IDK why everyone try to avoid it and not recognize while producers annonce it . They see her potential , and Lee-jung say literraly she's an all rounder ( don't forget that lee jung work with many 5gen idol ) , monica say too , vvn say she have a unique vocal and a good rap tone . Sarang in all , have an unique vocal color , her rap tone is amazing , in the ep 4 they say that she soaked up the choregaphy perfectly and fast ( in 2 days) + how she lead dance team . And her facial expression and stage presence were on point .

During that finals night, I was saddened to see Fuko didn’t make it to debut. I was upset (and also lowkey salty for the PD’s picks reasoning - like there are more ways to say better reason for Mai than just “visual reasons” when she has shown to proved on many other aspects). But when I rewatch the show again I love the other contestants more, apart from my vocal duo who are my top2 picks, i grow more on Sarang, the hate on her during LVER performance really blinded me back then

My picks were jeemin, jungeun, sarang and fuko, for the finals I decided to vote one day for fuko and one day for sarang because they were the ones I saw less support (in both fandom and the show producers) so of course i'm very sad fuko didn't made in but I still think the line up is pretty good, right now i'm just praying the songs make them justice because i don't trust Teddy lol

Fuko fans need to CHILL. Attacking the other members won't do any good, when a good part of the blame for her not debuting is because of her own fans. Throughout the program we already had an idea that she wouldn't enter as a pick of the producers, then they should VOTE. In programs of this type, no one is "guaranteed", that does not exist, mainly with foreign trainees djjdk💀

here is why i think fuko was not chosen she did not have any storyline after part1 and she always did something predictable what no we all know her vocals are good but what else? i think that is the reason she did not get any votes she did not have lots of moments where she struggled and all those struggles bring you storyline but she did not have that take jungeun and jiyoon for example they had their storylines and talent which secured their debut as 1st and 3rd place, jungeun predebut videos girl i cant-
I think the lineup for the performance were decided by the judges/ mentors and they always give her the same elegant concept they never gave her the center position (except for first two performance) , black label gave her rap position in the last performance but the mentors said it fit jungeun better even tho there wasn't a big difference as for her storyline gp999 / training for 7 years /Wanting to show why she deserves a spot in the lineup was a perfect storyline but mnet didn't showcase it

I found it goofy as hell that her fanbase thinks it's rigged just because their favorite different or wasn't the producers pick, I've seen the solo compilation video made for her she didn't stand out besides of her vocals. For the fans issue, hating on the members will not make anything better it's not the members fault that they were chosen. it's not always a rigged situation thing, especially after what happened with iz one and x1. I say this all the time instead of whining about the girl they choose to be in the lineup they should have just voted for her more i have said this with r u next show.
From what we’ve heard leaders are very important in groups. Some groups who have changed leaders have even said it was good for the group cohesion. We’ve learned that the leader sets the tone a lot and makes sure everyone stay focused. Yeah they have other people there but they practice a lot without them. Like gfriend only had a choreographer for x amount of hours and if the choreo wasn’t perfect, then their entire comeback would get pushed back.

Also, I made this video a while ago so after reading some comments and other posts I also think that Mai / Jiyoon (or maybe Jeemin) have a better chance of being leader. Of course they’re all great leaders but I changed my mind about Jungeun since she’s in the maknae line. They haven’t debuted yet so my opinion on the positions & all will probably change later anyway 🥲
in almost all of their post and promotion line-ups jeemin is often seen in the middle! She's also the one who counts down for the other members to start their introduction!!
The all rounders are jungeun and sarang and maybe jeemin ..
Unfortunately Jeemin is not an all rounder because her vocals are weak. But i think her vocals have a lot of potential and she can be become an all rounder but right now she is not

@@taaaaata2571 no I didn’t watch the whole video because I could stand to hear any more lies. fuko is about as versatile as Mai and saebi, so that point makes no sense. she also adds leadership, something the group isn’t very strong in (there’s jungeun but she’s 17) so fuko would very much add something. and again, sure they have 2 main vocalists but why are we limiting the amount of vocalists in a group? they are supposed to be singers, so why can we not have 3 great singers?

All of them deserved to debut, so there’s no reason to argue about it. If Fuko’s fans didn’t vote for her, they shouldn’t be upset that the judges didn’t choose her either.

i’m not at all a fuko hater but like, what would she have added to the group? juyoon would completely overshadow her vocal wise (again not hate, both of them are just better and more popular) and the only other position she went for was center, which she would get overshadowed by jeemin, saebi, and maybe even mai. maybe she could’ve made it if she showed she was an all rounder. but when she had the chance to rap she gave it up. i hope she can debut in the future but the reason she didn’t debut in iland 2 is bc she just didn’t show much versatility and only stayed in her comfort zone.
@@Park_Jimin_Simp well for one she would’ve added leadership, and just because they have better vocalists doesn’t mean they can’t have more, remember that they are supposed to sing and therefore the whole lineup should be able to sing (and fuko would’ve helped with that because we know damn well that jeemin saebi and mai aren’t strong singers), she can also dance, and no girl her rap part was taken away from her because she doesn’t speak English and that is hard to do if you don’t have help… the producers changed it, she didn’t have any control over it

Even though this group has so much talent, the vocals of this group is very weak, the only really good ones are Jungeun and Jiyoon and I don’t think people realize that good vocals matter too, even though Fuko, Gyuri , Yuju , and Um Jiwon are like the rest of the better vocalists that did not debut, they are still weak,it just shows how the vocal standards of people and the kpop industry is just so low rn
I mean to be fair the 2 best vocalists made it and sarang was a top 5 vocalist aswell. you also have to consider that the girls have a 7 year initial contract and they’re planned to be permanent so they will have plenty of time to improve. i’m sure by the time contract renewals start theyll all be good vocalists
Honestly a group doesn’t need to be fully vocalists to make it they have some of all the strengths and that’s perfect technically you only need 2 good vocalists and 1 average one to make a good song(look at gilde the preciouses are usually yuzu+miyeon and then miyeon+shuhua) add a good bridge to that and your good
