Mine was teddy bears as well! Lovely yellow walls with primary color teddy bears. My son's was loosely knight/castle themed but all that I did decor wise was paint a mural wall to look like a castle interior.
Honestly, this is one of the best examples of a contemporary nursery I’ve seen. The parents that do the muted shades of grey are clearly doing it for how it appears on their social media feed and not for the development of their child. Well done!
Oh, wow! Thank you so much! We really wanted something colorful that would give him plenty to look at over the years. I remember how much I loved looking at the various pictures on my wall while I was growing up and I wanted that for my son. He's almost two now, and he actually really loves his mural (he calls it "ma wall!") and pointing at things in the Pixar prints.
Walt Disney would be so proud to know that a young woman decorated her babies nursery in his theme park. It's just beautiful and everything matches perfectly and looks so warm and inviting. You couldn't have done it better. I especially love the mobile you created, what a lucky little boy.
I was walking him around his nursery yesterday after I changed him, and it was so sweet to see him looking around and taking everything in! He starting to reach out and grasp things so he's already starting to enjoy them!
Thank you so much for sharing your baby's new room & all the wonderful items in it. Congratulations again. The cranes are so lovely & everything looks so nice.
Thank you so much! Want to know a secret? I made that mobile the night before I shot this video 😅 it was something I really wanted to do but never got around to. This video forced my hand!
@@HattoHem hooray for helpful deadlines...!? It's still a lovely mobile! I think the cardstock helps give it a solidity that matches the patterns on the mural, books, curtains & the amazing quilt.
We really wanted his room to be full of love and memories, past, present, and future :) My cousin/his godmother got him Madeline and I already made sure I read it to him!
My daughter had a old English rose bedroom and then a dolphin bedroom, but my son had dragons and I mean 5'x6"dragons. Your son's bedroom is so cute, thanks for sharing the finished room, I watched you painting the mural so it was lovely to see your vision coming together.💖
Beautiful room! I never did themes until my son asked for a bat cave. Or was it an ocean theme? I did both.I can't remember why he wanted the ocean. He's 30 now, so it was before Finding Nemo.
Both the bat cave and ocean theme sound awesome!!! I'm looking forward to seeing what our boy will want his room to be someday. (Hopefully a while from now since I don't want to paint over this mural anytime soon!)
Mine didn't ask until he was 7 or so. By then he had his own room, before then he shared with his sister. The baby always got the smallest bedroom. When the youngest slept through the night, the girls shared, and boy got his own room.
That really is a lovely room. Currently, my bedroom is filled with a collection of little green ducks. They are everywhere. The rest of my house (my bedroom, too, for that fact) have got hidden cats.
Did you or your children have a themed nursery? I would love to hear what it was! (Mine was Teddy Beddy Bear)

Thank you so much! This was an exceptionally nice comment! 🥰
@@HattoHem Your very welcome.
You did a great job, so many things for his little eyes and mind to look at! He is going to love all the soft toys as he gets older. ❤❤❤

This is just the cutest room ever! Wonderful job!
Thank you so much!!! I had so much fun with it!
I love the room. It’s beautiful!!!
Thank you!
Beautiful job - every single thing means something for your family, which is lovely.
Whoever bought Madeline for you - good call!

@@HattoHem as a 4'9" adult and an even shorter child, I was raised on Madeline (and Thumbelina) I wholeheartedly agree with this book choice
@@matildabelle2812 I'm 5'0" on a good day (4'11.5" on a bad one) so I definitely get that!

Your daughter's themes both sound lovely, but your son's sounds like a sight to behold! I'm glad you enjoyed this follow up to the mural video!
Super cute! I love how well the theme came together!
Thank you so much! It actually ended up better than I had hoped!
Your room turned out so cute! The Carousel of Progress was my favorite ride when I was a child also.
It's such a good, underrated ride! My mom and I have matching shirts that say "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow"
That’s lovely, you did a great job!
Thank you! 😊
My son’s nursery was Classic Pooh and my daughter’s was fairies. It was fun to decorate and I hated when they outgrew it. Your nursery is so cute.
Thank you! That sounds adorable! We almost went with the Classic Book Pooh. All it took were those prints to change my mind.
Very very cool!
Thank you! :D

Can you tell me where you got those dresser knobs? Thanks!
Hi! I either got them from Amazon or Home Depot.
