Watching a movie that's very emotional can be hard. Watching those movies that have to do with kids being a parent could be even harder. While I know there are hundreds of heartbreaking movies these four always stand at the top of my list. Right on Nick... John Q is awesome! That's one of the few Denzel films I still need to get in my collection. But I couldn't agree with you more... that film totally hits harder as a parent than it did before I became a parent. Plus we get James Woods to boot, who's always great.

I was already a parent when John Q came out, so I already had that experience. Same for A Time to Kill. I saw that one both before and after becoming a parent. I saw Mask a few times as a teenager. I'm sure it would hit different today.
