In today's market, deliberately making a product that's more expensive than what your customers are used to paying is a freakin BOLD move. Even if this crashes and burns, I gotta give Armaf credit for the sheer cajones
@@FragranceInducedComathat’s the thing, when it’s a twist, there’s no “original” fragrance (unless another house does the exactly same variation or clones the “clone”)
My other comment: what I expect from a review: (1) how the fragrance smells? notes, etc (2) is this inspired by? Clone of? (3) versatility? Summer? Winter? (4) longevity? In hours. What is the point of watching a review without these points?
Prices will drop. So many excellent fragrances for less than $40 now. Creed, Nishane, PDM, & lots of other nuche companies are no longer as strong as they once were.
@@TheVisualante Nishane is expensive. So is Xerjoff, Clive Christian, Roja, etc. The clone companies have schooled them & offer fragrances for a small $ fraction that perform well.
I don’t think I can buy from Armaf anymore. Of the 5 fragrances I have from them, four are either broken or the cheap chrome has flaked off the atomizer collar. I just don’t trust that company. And other clone brands are way better in quality.
If they were closer to $45-$55 I'd probably consider them since they're not technically doing a clone fragrance. Anything past $60 is a hard pass for me IJS
@@GoranAbraxas Not really they're still at the end of the day a clone brand. And what they expect @ Retail is outrageous & even at Discounters I could be honestly swayed at $60-$65 max. If they release more in the next year that are again further away from cloning & have this type of quality then you may have gotten me to pay the added cost.
@@Michael-Styles I don't understand your logic. They release original creations, higher quality extrait de parfums made by renowned perfumers, and you expect them to be priced as lower quality clones? Maybe next year they'll release clones of these perfumes in order to meet your expectations. When it comes to various parfums and elixirs the usual argument to justify outrageous prices goes "yeah they're expensive, but the quality and concentration is higher" - so why not here? At the end of the day, they *were* a clone house, now they're no longer just a clone house, it is what it is.
What a confusion review… 😂😂😂. Basically, Ash did not like the ‘red’ bottle and ignored it; on the other hand, he liked the ‘silver’ one and couldn’t describe it. 😂😂😂 … Is there any new fragrances today that are not ‘inspired by’ or ‘clone’? Why he did not say: the silver one is inspired by XYZ? Easy… 14 minutes for nothing… 😂😂😂
I’ve had key to my success for about 3 months now. I usually write a review on perfumes on fragrantica after 3-5 wearings. I’ve worn it about 10 times now and I still haven’t written a review because it’s a hard to describe scent. It is different yet familiar. It’s a great signature scent for sure and for $80 under any designer name it would be considered a hidden gem.
"Inspired". They're 'inspired' in the same way majority of designer releases are 'inspired' by other fragrances, they all use variants of the same bases and combinations developed by perfumers, for example if you hire Quentin Bisch do you think he will develop an entirely original creation for you or will he play around with his Akigalawood minerally base? - but you will not say oh look MYSLF smells like CK Defy, or, look Rockstud Noir is half Y half wankery, and that just exposes your hypocrisy.

Maybe I’m going out on a limb, but the dupe hybrid market may keep rising in prices (like everything else) and falling in quality. 😊
Then I'll save up and get the real fragrance

Ash you're my favorite fragrance youtuber
I was at my local perfumania and checked out a couple of your fragrances , very nice!
High quality fragrances with high prices, that’s what we all expect from Armaf 😂
Ne bekliyosun abi
The high prices are probably to cover the costs of the perfumers that are attached to these.
Thanks for the Video 😀
That intro had me dying. 🤣🤣

Nishane is still pretty strong I would separate it from the other two

Not even Club de Nuit series don't cost 40 bucks anymore. In Europe they cost more like 50 euros.
Great review ❤
Ash, do you know if Armaf has a classic Fougere fragrance? Something similar to Eau Sauvage, Chanel Egioeste, Gentlman Only type fragrance.
Legesi is close to egoiste platinum
Great video ❤
What's going on with Blue Ridge?
Let me know when Lattafa clones it
Go for a review for Philos (opus , centro , rosso , pura ) de Maison Alhambra
I’m guessing that these new Armaf “high end” fragrances will be best sellers. And by that, I mean they won’t sell at all.
You know what would be a boss move? If Lattafa put out $20 clones of these.
@@jeremyt2212😂😂😂😂😂
Anyone know of a dupe for unknown pleasures by kerosene?
Private Key Love for $90 or Kirke for $96. Why bother making a clone the same price as the original?
Kirke also is a clone of xerjoff erba pura😊
Erba pura is the first fragrance with whis DNA

14 minutes bro !! Really !! Come on !! 😂
Did you call your perfume edgewater haha what
No thanks! Will stick with the companies at that price or other clone brands. That's called getting too big for your britches.

Not club de nuit. Just armaf key to my succes
It literally says club de nuit in the bottle
Commenting without watching is always the best 🤦🏻😂 That's Like the First Thing ash Talks about...
This guy can sometimes be full of it.... every fragrance you review you compare to another one....
It's because if he doesn't compare it to something else everyone will ask what its similar too. Everyone does it now a days
I’d give it less than a year before they go back to their old cloning selves.
