Little did these actors realize that 40 years later, fans would be holding their movie in the palm of their hands, observing their scenes while filming the location.
No other horror movie is more noticeable or more iconic, absolutely my favorite of all time. I think I’d cry to be at these locations, I’ve watched it at least 100x easy.
The Myers house was not originally in the spot by the railroad tracks in your video. It was moved down the street from its original location to make way for a condo development. The neighboring houses from the opening have been demolished.
You lucky duck. My favorite scary movie. Followed by 1981 Halloween 2 I also want to see The three houses in Slumber Party Massacre 1882 movie. Filmed in summer of ‘81. Thanks for this. Great job you guys. 🧡
This was very cool. It looks like one of the most popular locations you've visited. So many people wandering around. So happy you both got to visit these iconic locations!
I was 12 when me and a group of friends rode our bicycles to see Halloween at The Gamecock Theater in West Columbia, SC, when it first came out. We rode home in group through the Avenues in the pitch black of night, helping everyone get home, until it was just me and one older friend. Although he was 2 years older than me, he was too scared and refused to follow me home. After riding with him to his house, I had to ride 9 blocks to my house…all alone. I was absolutely petrified, but somehow made it. I will never forget that night as long as I live, unless I get Alzheimer’s or Dementia.
I love this dudes channel. He's calm, collected, and his voice is easy to listen to. I can't stand the younger ones. This dude is awesome and his voice is relaxing. Does a great job of filming locations as well and is very informative. Do a filming location of THE GUARDIAN please?! That would be so awesome to see that tree and the house!
Every year in Oct. my wife and I watch Halloween (1978) one of our favorites. I was surprised to see so many people visiting the locations. That's awesome! Thanks for the great tour, glad to see you and Cris enjoying your time in California. Safe travels my friend!
Very happy that you guys got to visit these iconic locations, hope you have a great time in California, the Myers house was moved from the movie location to its current spot several years ago, from what I’ve heard, it was very close to being torn down, thanks for the great videos.
@@TampaJay If you would have went further down the street the Myers house is currently located you would have seen its original location. The Elrod house & alley from part 2 is also down there.
I saw this video when Tampa Jay first posted. Today we got to see some of these locations thanks to this video. Unfortunately the HADDONFIELD sign has been removed from the bush 😢. It was great exploring these sites with my kids 😊
Wanna get something out real quick. In a past comment I said you were just a bad version of Adam the woo. However I was 💯 wrong in that and apologize. You totally have your own personality after watching a few of your videos. I apologize for my bad take and I subbed. Great video in fact you are I'm my top 3 for filming locations
I'm from the UK and would love to visit that series of iconic locations.. Thankyou for sharing your day with the world.. I'm sure it would make the hairs kn your neck stand up, especially of you ever visited at night!
Also went out to see the Wallace and Doyle house. Was actually able to go inside the Doyle house and see upstairs. I was shaking the whole time from excitement
Hi Jay and Cris: Just as an F.Y.I.: the noisy birds are wild parrots. Southern California has wild parrots that travel in flocks and create a lot of noise. Next time you hear them, look up...they are gorgeous! Awesome video (as usual!!!)
The alley from 2 is right around the block from the house/museum. I didn’t realize it, I turned onto it so I could turn the car around to go the other way on the street. I lost it when I realized. My wife laughed
Bucketlist for sure! If u watch them leaving the hedge u can see workers on the movie standing on the porch of the house looking over it watching. Officer Francis is played by Christopher Nelson.
I'm watching a year later! Heading to Pasadena today & wanted to see if anyone had filmed anything that I missed on a previous visit. Your vlog popped up. Loved it - GREAT job!
It is so cool:) I watching it on tv your filming gives really good atmosphere! I could see and look around like I was there😊 even the lightning in the beginning with the leaves look like I’m watching the movie:) Love the behind the scenes and the sugarmynt spooky gallery❤🎉❤🎉🎃
@8:25 when that guy mentioned about the Rialto theater that’s also where the interior shot for the THRILLER video was shot where they were watching the movie and Michael’s date walks out
What A fabulous job!! I really enjoyed this vid🎃🎃🎃 looked like the perfect day. This make me wanna come out and see it for my self!! Thankyou for sharing this. So cool, fun and entertaining 🎃🔪🎃
Thumbs up! Great video guys. A couple small things you missed.... the Myers house was originally on that same street as the gallery behind it. About half the block up, you can screen match the nought (over hole) in that tree where the house once stood across the street. Also, across the street from Laurie's pumpkin photo op house sits a bench and underneath it it's commemorating the shooting schedule of Halloween 1978 as well as Producer Mustapha Akkad. Next time check those out. Great video!
Very cool! Don't know if I will ever scratch this location off my bucket list, but it is nice I can at least see it through videos like yours, Jay. Been to So. Cal once back in 1987 when I went to Universal Studios Hollywood, but not in this area. Thanks for sharing your check in the ole' bucket list.
Hallowen 1 's filmed where is very beautiful a place . The houses' gardens smooth and the houses seem perfect . Really l would want to live here . Greetings where from turkey my country 😘😘😘😘😘😍😍🥰🥰

So true. That’s what I love about the movies I love.

So honored to do this with you & be a part of a filming location video! I love you!!❤️
We love you! ❤

27:15 he mentions it
You only know that like the rest of us because it say's so in the video 😱
Yes we know this because he mentions it in the video himself

It’s most definitely the most visited location I’ve ever been to in just a short amount of time and distance. Thanks Elyse!

I'm so happy you two got to do this! I always see the hedge and think it's right past the Mama's Family house. 😀
4:45 nice look at the hedge area 19:35 Nice knife art timeline display.
When you come home take a residential tour Walrous avenue south Tampa area Sooooo cool the decorations at homes on these streets.
Hey I have that shirt. Lol great video like always.
I'm huuge fan of Halloween it must been awesom seeing in person where was filmed
Nice video! Speaking of Halloween, you kinda resemble Buddy Kupfer from Halloween 3 - Season of the Witch. Haha.
I Love your live video with the actual movie spot!! I haven't seen anyone do that......great idea!!! Great commentary as well!!
It’s cool that your wife/girlfriend does this with you. She seems very chill.
Attended South Pas HS but had no idea about the Halloween connection until senior year 😂 Hope you enjoyed our small town vibes!
I'm definitely going to see those locations, probably right after the holidays. Thanks for this video!

That was FANTASTIC my friends, you bring the locations to me and i thank you guys for this.
I didn’t know the house/neighborhood was in south Pasadena! I’m only 20 miles away too. I’m checking this out by the end of the year forsure!
The reason the house is in that location(by the train tracks), is because they moved the house from it's original location.
How many of you have to keep saying this ? We already know this it doesn't make you clever or anything 😮
Awesome video!!!!! Nice to meet you guys this is Dakota from the hedge!! 😝
I'm from the UK and would love to visit that series of iconic locations.. Thankyou for sharing your day with the world.. I'm sure it would make the hairs kn your neck stand up, especially of you ever visited at night!
Another great location vid :) Thanks Jay... You have been doing great work for a long time

Someday I would like to get out there and visit those locations. As someone from PA like CG, I had fun watching you two enjoy it for the first time.

The Myers house was originally across the street from the Sugar Mint gallery, about 6 house to the right.
Yep, it was going to be razed, but a resident bought it for a dollar to save it and moved it to the new location.
@8:25 when that guy mentioned about the Rialto theater that’s also where the interior shot for the THRILLER video was shot where they were watching the movie and Michael’s date walks out

I didn’t know the house was moved. I went and was wondering how they filmed it with the tracks right there. Well, now I have my answer lol.
Very interesing, thanks!

Very cool! I wanna say I had read that they relocated the Myers house. Can't remember the reasoning why but it makes sense.
