- ➤Daniel Bevilacqua, [*13 Oct 1945 - ✞16 April 2020] better known by his stage name CHRISTOPHE, was a French singer and songwriter. He was born in the Paris suburb of Juvisy-sur-Orge, to an Italian father. Christophe died on 16 Apr 2020 of the Corona virus in Brest 😢
CHRISTOPHE became famous in the early 1960s with his first hit being "Aline", in 1965. His hits include the song "Oh!... Mon Amour" which he sang in French and Italian. After a small break, he returned in 1971, with Francis Dreyfus launching the Motors record label and becoming the producer of Christophe records. The result was the 1973 "Les Paradis perdus". In 1974, he recorded "Les mots bleus" (lyrics by Jean-Michel Jarre). In 1983, he recorded his original song "Succès fou"!!

➤2019, CD ~ "Christophe etc." , le légendaire talent de Christophe, depuis toujours, est d’avoir su réinventer de façon obsessionnelle les quelques chansons talismans qui ont fait sa gloire (Les Mots bleus, Aline, Les Paradis Perdus, La Dolce Vita...) au lieu de se contenter, comme d’autres, d’en être le porte-voix passif et nostalgique. Cet album de duos aux couleurs modernes côtoie à la perfection le côté romanesque de Christophe, surfant sur des nappes à la fois électro et rock!
