How far away is a decent super market? Do you have to drive to La Romana to do major food shopping?

Hi! At this point, for a large shopping trip, we go to La Romana- it's just about 20 min away! In between trips, we have the mini markets here and some amazing fruit and veggie trucks that have their route here. Most people buy like this. In the not far future, there will be a supermarket in this particular area.
