Megan, those are really great Real Estate buying opportunities. I've been visiting the area often and no other beach property has the pier and water park that Cadaques has. Also having an elevator makes it very convenient. For us Americans making the decision to invest with intentions of permanently living there should not be taken lightly. Just last week driving back to Punta Cana from Dominicus I got stopped three times on the autopista for no reason by the local traffic cops looking to extort us. While investing in Real Estate in DR looks very attractive to us Americans from the financial perspective, I would only personally invest on a property that could generate rental income, at least until the corruption starts showing some signs of decline, if ever.

Cadaques is very beautiful - especially for someone looking for a unit ready to go and ready to enjoy all the amenities! Aqua Esmeralda is breathtaking as well, but under construction at the moment- but it will be amazing! I rarely fly though Punta Cana and no longer have to make that drive often. Now, I fly right through La Romana airport- just about 15 min away from Bayahibe! Best thing ever!
