I saw one bike lane today as I walked back to my airbnb (located in the southeast corner of the city) from el centro. I was surprised that close by to my Airbnb (adjacent to Zamora Huayco church) there is a both a stream and forest. I was absolutely shocked to see live electric wiring on fences of the upscale homes close by to my Airbnb.

LADA or Fiat sighting at 01:54? What was it like riding on those pavers at 04:40? They look quaint but really shake your bones. When riding a bike, I always have the worst time turning my head to see traffic behind me. That split second is enough for me to start wobbling with the handlebars. Once, when I turned back to make sure my briefcase was still on the rear rack, I didn't notice I was driving into a bus stop "bay." By the time I looked forward, my front wheel was alongside the curb and I had to take a rolling tumble off the bicycle onto the sidewalk. My headlight broke. I was pretty bruised up and had to teach a very physical English class in a school gymnasium right after that. I had a nagging shoulder pain for months afterwards.

Hi mate, that's a LADA. I see that one around town a lot. Cool eh? Yeah man, the pavers are super rough, I can hardly hang on, and there's big gaps and cracks to watch out for too! Super gnarly...thanks for watching, cheers!
