been enjoying your videos, and how you breakdown characters. It inspired me to try the same and grab ideas from a bunch of other games and stories. One i have been having a lot of fun with was looking at builds from Guild Wars 1 and seeing how i could translate that into a pathfinder character. I had a lot of fun turning the pack hunter build in GW1 into a character PF2. I opted to go ranger/beast master using a spear with returning runes to mimic the ranger/paragon build form GW1
I'm really glad to hear that! Guild Wars isn't a game I know much about, but my partner plays it and from what I've learnt from them I can see some of it translating quite well!
Totally get that perspective! I do talk about why I didn't go for that a little in the video, ultimately don't think any of the hunters edges really work for him, but maybe I'll do another down the line with him as a ranger 🤔
I could see Precision working fine having more to do with finding the weak spot on a monster as opposed to poking them in the eye with a rapier. I could even see wit being a reasonable option because it grants bonuses in social encounters or to recall knowledge/identify monsters and their weakness. I think Senshi's ability to prep and Identify dangerous and unusual Monster Carcasses through Recall knowledge is more helpful than hitting more often
Excellent points, that's not the way I had looked at it I'll be honest, but it makes a lot of sense thinking about it now! Maybe we'll have another crack at Senshi down the line. Thanks for your input!
