im confused what a gen is. as far as i know there was the generation that started the hallyu wave with SNSD, and TWICE kickstarting the global domination wave as the current generation. so in my mind, there are three generations, pre-snsd, snsd, and post-snsd lol
@@12345678abracadabra as far as I know first gen are SES and the OGs OGs of Kpop although I would argue that Seo Taiji and Boys are Gen zero kinda second Gen started around 2005, 3rd around 2010 to 2012 ish and 4th Gen around 2018 to 2020. As SNSD is a 2nd Gen group or the gg of the second gen, so everything before SNSD is 1st Gen and everything after 2012 is 3rd Gen so your logic lines up with the gens. So basically every 7 years there's a new gen lol. It's fluid tho. Like Loona for example is kinda in between 3rd and 4th Gen.
