The new Canon EOS R5 Mark II has some amazing options for recording 8K video, but which one is best for you. In this video, I'll share some footage shot in the 8K RAW format and 8K 422 10-bit Clog2, plus some 8K 60 in RAW Lite. I want to see which one has the best image quality while not taking up too much hard drive space as well as which renders faster.
All video was recorded on the Canon R5 ii using the RF 24-70 f2.8 and the RF 100-500 lenses.

Raw vs C-log2 is a bad title… Raw is the codec and HEVC/AVC is another codec. clog is the recording gamma.. so even if you shoot in raw, it’s interpreted with a clog gamma.. so it isn’t raw vs clog.. in actuality it’s like RAW vs Compressed codecs.

Hi, would you be able to post some raw file for us to test it? If possible, of course. Thanks. for me, it is up to my own computer power.
