You've commented on two of these LEAF videos, so I thought I would give you some insight. When you wear body armor, especially something like level 3 or 4 plates, the carrier already has a lot of bulk. If you add padded straps over top of that it is too much padding, and the lack of flex from the straps actually digs into your shoulders. If you need a padded shoulder strap this might not be the bag for you and a lot of non-LEAF bags from Arc'teryx offer that. I personally like the thin straps.
I love this bag!!! One thing, what is the best way to remove things sticking to the Velcro? I bet it's going to be the number one issue people face. Lol
As someone who owns several Arcteryx packs, Bora 80,Naos85 Miura 50 etc...I must say this newer Arc teryx packs are overpriced man purses. For a supposed "military&tactical pack" it falls short on so many fronts, it baffles the mind. Where is the molle webbing? Those shoulder straps and hipbelt are way too anemic for heavier loads, shoulder straps have no top adjustment &reinforcement. Not to mention the lack of any exterior canteen/water bottle holders. This is pretty much a miura 45 in multicam at twice the price.
It is designed for Direct Action forces, not for troops tabbing for miles but (hopefully) quick in and out raids. weight is of a premium to these guys so extra shite you don't need is cut back i.e pouches on the outside of the pack. and it takes bladders in the side pouches. I've seen these packs and for their designed purpose they are awesome.

The Khard is not a waterproof pack, similar to the Miura in our outdoor lineup.

You wouldn't want too. even if you got the 30 (but you might as well get the 45 IMHO) it still would be to much weight.
