I have done all your journals. I love the variety!! The ones I have the most fun with are the folk art and animal journals. Thank you!
Hi Shana! I absolutely LOVE this series and would vote for a minimum of 10,000 if it were up to me. One of the things that draws me to your channel is the variety of paintings you’ve taught us - everything from farm animals to landscapes to flowers to vegetables to fish to folk art to abstract - we can literally learn how to do everything from you! It challenges us to think and paint outside our comfort zones. The uniqueness of how and what you teach is truly special, and I hope you’ll consider continuing on with the videos. I know it’s a lot of work for you. I agree with the others about a patron. I would be more than willing to pay a membership fee to continue seeing you paint! Thanks for being you! We probably don’t tell you how inspiring and helpful your classes are to our growth often enough.
Thank you so much for your kind words! They really mean a lot!
Another vote for folk art here 🙂 I am just so attracted to the vibrant colours and shapes! Also the fact that the picture doesn't have to be true to life . . . . blue round trees, green sky etc etc!! Such fun!!
Your "flat brush" rose at the bottom left turned out so well! I love your sketchbook series and I'd vote for 365 ...but only if you have it in you, of course. I like to paint cards and can sometimes use inspiration from your tutorial for them. I am wondering though if you'd consider a mini series where you offer suggestions for specific occasions: birthdays (both him and her), sympathy, thank you, congratulations, etc. I appreciate your videos. As always, thank you!
Hi Shana! I’ve been looking for whimsical buildings and back at some of your bright landscapes. I have also been looking at abstracts with markings. Those are fun. I’ve been looking back at yours from 1-2 years ago. The whimsical, folk art landscapes. Love love love those!
Would love to see more animal tutorials
Or maybe we can paint snacks. Your coffee tutorial from last year is on of my favorites!
These are all gorgeous! Looove the first one with the flat brush. The second one with the round, though, too!😍
I've just recently started dabbling more in painting flowers. You make it look so easy!😊❤
Hi Shana. I really enjoyed your Try it Tuesday landscapes and the birds on the wire days 124 and 125. I’m also very fond of your whimsical designs. I enjoy all of the videos that I have followed and have even become very interested in painting flowers, which I would have never thought possible. So thank you for inspiring me. I used to paint in oils and watercolour is a very interesting and enjoyable challenge.
I love your folk art videos. On a day like this you could explore mark making with different brushes other than the round, and then use a pen to create some pattern over it. Kind of a no thinking video. I love your flower pages. I’m personally stuck in an "I can’t paint rut mood." Nothing I do works for me, so I truly admire your doing this for so many days.
Always look forward to your videos! You are amazing and I love your style😊
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Happy painting!
Whimsical tutorials are great replays. I remember moon’s purples and greens. I’ve actually done a lot of your tutorials a lot.
So many favorites Shana…I like the ones that I don’t see other places…like the hot air balloons awhile back. I also like when you have painted an abstract then added pen details. I always learn from your landscape and floral videos too. I would also be all in if you started a Patreon option with commercial free videos and maybe exclusive tutorials where we could vote on topics plus a place to share our work. You are a fantastic teacher and talented artist! Can’t wait to see what’s in store🙂🎨
I really liked the rose painted with the flat brush. Had a lot of depth in it.
I always like your folk art paintings. Thanks Shana 😊❤
Drawing lessons. I struggle with perspective, vanishing point in landscapes, etc. But any help in drawing is appreciated.
I would love more landscapes, animals and folk art
I'm hoping you'll do a pear tutorial some day! I think they're so pretty!
Beach paintings! Selfish request because I’ve recently been away on holiday and now im back I tried to do a painting of a really long jetty with the turquoise water from one of my photos and whilst it was my first from a photo I could really do with the guidance! Happy to send you some reference photos I took! As for the square rose I love it but never painted one, I can’t even do the round brush ones 😂 fave past tutorial (watched them all) is the purple really round flowers, can’t think of their name! My daughter was amazed that I’d painted it. That was a great feeling. Thank you for all your tutorials. Xx
Oh my gosh, I remember we did a cow. That was a really fun one. It was like the face of the cow it was purple.
Sure yes! First honey your content and tutorials are the bomb so remember that. Here’s an idea…do a sky series…like 3-5 days of different atmospheric sky tutorials. I love painting skies and it’s kinda user friendly too. If you decide to do this give me a shout out. Keep your head up Shana…love love
I’d love to see more like the winter goddess you did recently…maybe a spring goddess? I’m always up for landscapes, too! I personally love the rose you did with the square brush! The only person I know who does roses with a flat brush is Jillian Boon. I don’t think she has a specific tutorial, though.
LOVE the flat brush rose at the beginning 🥰
The rose with the flat brush turned out nice!
You are so kind. I think it needs some work but it’s a start. 😊
I like seeing the comparison of the brushwork(prefer the flat brush rose) but… it seems like all the artists I follow mostly paint florals. I like your variety and can relate to the what’s next feeling sometimes. I would love to see plants/leaves, books, textures-wood, old bricks, etc.
❤❤❤❤can’t wait to try this. 😊😊😊 Definetly a favourite. Thank you for sharing.
I'm still such a wc newbie that I'm still struggling painting what you are painting after 2 years. I'm beginning to wonder if wc is just not for me.....not everything is for everybody. I love your painting of roses and I'm not giving up though.. I liked the series you did with little scenarios done in little squares divided up on paper. I liked that you used a different brush. I've been watching someone do flowers with the filbert brush. I sure can't get the dagger.....it's like I've never held anything in my hands before LOL. Tfs
I love today's project
I really like the rose with the flat brush, because I lean toward abstract rather than realistic style. I don’t know why.
ocean scenes or fish ...shells and sea animals. would be nice....
love todays tutorial love the flat brush rose
thank you
also perhaps beaches or waves thank you
Thanks for your honesty. I realized it’s not just me 😊. Love the flat brush roses. They felt a bit more abstract - . For my painting playlists - it’s classical, Celtic or classic rock.
Hi! Can you give us a lesson on light / making landscapes look more 3D? Or perhaps a circus-themed lesson. 😃
I prefer the rose made with the square brush so much more than the round. ❤
Ocean. Beach. Landscapes.
I really love your whimsical folk art. But you may have gotten tired of that. What about abstract landscapes? Or themes that last a few days or a week… like one theme could be from the ocean and another could be from the forests. Or a celestial theme. Just a thought. You do beautiful work. And, by the way, your roses are looking great!
I would like to gnomes that are not Christmas themed
