"YOU ARE THE FOOT." 😄👣 It's true, though. There's a significant difference between even running in huarache sandals and shoes in terms of your mindset. Feeling the air and sun on your foot but also seeing your feet and toes causes you to run lighter and more delicately-even if you have protective soles under your foot. Your mind sees your foot as more vulnerable in a sandal than a fully covered foot. It's one of my favorite activities-the perfect balance of liberating and protective (not to be confused with "supportive", which the foot doesn't need).
So glad I tuned in today! This is what I think about all the time! This podcast is like getting all my phytoncides in a good Forest run! I study Architecture this is something that I will try incorporate into my process.

Quite honestly it was quite boring listening to Tony talking about his own life “in Hampstead” and how amazing it all was.. how amazing Ibiza was.. then back to how amazing Hampstead was again. And then listening to him taking about “rewilding” a 72 yr old man by having him stand in a tray of stones. Come on Rich.. you’re better than this. The whole reason I’ve always loved you and your work is you and your guests dont appear to have egos (you particularly) but this guest, IMO, has a fairly big one.
After a life time of back issues I switched to Vivo barefoot (as a desperate sceptic) 12 months ago......My knee, ankle and back problems have been transformed.
