- The twin turbo LSX Chevelle is getting a full repaint! As soon as we had this boosted LS Chevy running and driving, of course the customer throws a wrench in our plans and wants to change the color of the ENTIRE car! So now we have to tear this whole Chevelle down and get it ready for its new color. As frustrating as this is, it gives us time to double check EVERYTHING we did on this build to make sure that it's 100% for when we're putting it back together for the very last time!
While we're dropping our parts off at the painter, it's the perfect time to check in on our Godzilla swapped Lincoln Continental because that build is getting ready to hit the spray booth and come back to the shop for final assembly!
So make sure you're subscribed because both of these cars are about to get on the road very very soon! Авто/Мото
The Chevelle build is a never-ending project at this point😂. All the best with the new direction of the build.
We don't mind the extra work, but we just want to be ripping it already!
You must pinch yourself knowing you have such talented young staff Love there work
Thank you so much!
Suggestion: wrap the exhaust manifold! Heat protection for paintjob on the hood! Once this beast sees more that 2500 rpm, the paint will start peeling off
The fab work on that car is top notch, something to be proud of! Its a shame it has to be painted again, but it pays the bills.
Next time you see it we'll be doing the final final final assembly!
That engine is a work of art 👍
Can't wait to see how the Chevelle. De niro's the *nicest* 'parts runner' I've ever seen!
Despite the raised bed, she's a really good shop truck!
I’m normally not big on red or orange paint jobs but the paint on that car looks really good. Can’t believe it’s being changed.
That's what we said! But it's not our car!
@ Gotta make the client happy! It definitely would have been a one-of-a-kind! Keep up the great work!
Still waiting for final build on both the Chevelle SS and the Lincoln. Owners can change their minds about colour and chrome, it’s part of the job, and S2S can handle that, no problemo!
Thanks Mike , Andrew and David for your patience with these builds.
See you next week!!
It's a long hard process, but this thing is going to be flawless by the end!
@ I’m going to enjoy watching Mike and the team work their magic!! Very skilled and talented!
Thanks Mike
I`m with Henry Ford on color. Any color as long as it`s black. Oh and, cool music.
We love a nice black paint job but we were big fans of this maroon!
My savages god bless y’all 🫡🔥💪🏽👍🏽
Hope you're doing well Luis!
Amazing work as always
Thank you so much! We're really excited about this one!
“No Disassembled Stephany!
Personally I like the original orange color. I’m biased lol my Chevelle was orange.
We weren't the biggest fan of the creamsicle color scheme when it first came it, but it really grew on us by the time we stripped it down the first time to paint it red!
My favorite build is back, hot damn I love this car
Good call, wasn't a fan of that color choice. Stellar build deserves a stellar color, can't wait to see what the customer selected.
💪👊👏
i can only imagine the xtra cost involed to change paint etc. if u got the cash spend it right.
I get the customer is always right especially if they have the $$$ to cover the costs, but man, that has got to be frustrating! Not so sure that the new color combo will be an improvement though.
It's all just part of the job! We'd love to see this thing all finished up, but we like seeing the customer happy more!
1 minute ago is basically asking to marry me
"The Customer is always right in the matter of taste" but man that sucks! Gloss black Chevelle will just be white noise at the car meet. Shame.
That's what probably upsets us the most. The color really made the car stand out, even when the hood isn't popped!
To be honest, that color wasn't that good & I believe the new color will be very good. Overall good job you built a a great car 🤍🤍
Beautiful build and beautiful work, but nightmare customer! Hopefully for your sake the customer has more money than sense.
He's been a good customer! When you're spending this much on a build you want every aspect to feel right, and we understand that. It's all part of the job!
I would sell it and start again 🤔
Has to be aggravating to redo all thar work over. End of the day though, it's their call but still aggravating.
It gives us a chance to do another full review of everything in the engine bay. So it's a little frustrating, but not a total loss!
Thanks God it will be repainted. The color did not suit the car at all
Something is a miss. Didn’t like the color that far into the build? Cooling issues? Changing the wheel color? Bubbling paint on the radiator covers? Somethin ain’t right.
Gloss black that is so boring the red looked great
We loved the red! But at the end of the day, we're not the ones that are taking it home
I never cared for the color on that car.
Chrome....smh...
I need to figure out what this customer does for a living. I can't imagine paying for this whole build then deciding to change the color out of nowhere. lol
We try not to ask too many questions! lol
@ lol, yea. It would be weird if you did I would think.
