  • The twin turbo LSX Chevelle is getting a full repaint! As soon as we had this boosted LS Chevy running and driving, of course the customer throws a wrench in our plans and wants to change the color of the ENTIRE car! So now we have to tear this whole Chevelle down and get it ready for its new color. As frustrating as this is, it gives us time to double check EVERYTHING we did on this build to make sure that it's 100% for when we're putting it back together for the very last time!
While we're dropping our parts off at the painter, it's the perfect time to check in on our Godzilla swapped Lincoln Continental because that build is getting ready to hit the spray booth and come back to the shop for final assembly!
So make sure you're subscribed because both of these cars are about to get on the road very very soon!

The Chevelle build is a never-ending project at this point😂. All the best with the new direction of the build.

We don't mind the extra work, but we just want to be ripping it already!

Suggestion: wrap the exhaust manifold! Heat protection for paintjob on the hood! Once this beast sees more that 2500 rpm, the paint will start peeling off

The fab work on that car is top notch, something to be proud of! Its a shame it has to be painted again, but it pays the bills.

I’m normally not big on red or orange paint jobs but the paint on that car looks really good. Can’t believe it’s being changed.

Still waiting for final build on both the Chevelle SS and the Lincoln. Owners can change their minds about colour and chrome, it’s part of the job, and S2S can handle that, no problemo!
Thanks Mike , Andrew and David for your patience with these builds.
    See you next week!!

Personally I like the original orange color. I’m biased lol my Chevelle was orange.

We weren't the biggest fan of the creamsicle color scheme when it first came it, but it really grew on us by the time we stripped it down the first time to paint it red!

I get the customer is always right especially if they have the $$$ to cover the costs, but man, that has got to be frustrating! Not so sure that the new color combo will be an improvement though.

"The Customer is always right in the matter of taste" but man that sucks! Gloss black Chevelle will just be white noise at the car meet. Shame.

That's what probably upsets us the most. The color really made the car stand out, even when the hood isn't popped!

Something is a miss. Didn’t like the color that far into the build? Cooling issues? Changing the wheel color? Bubbling paint on the radiator covers? Somethin ain’t right.
