I was so turned off by all my mancera samples. The synthetic smell is extremely hard on the nose. Now, I'm hesitant to explore Tiziana terenzi. Does Borea also have a strong synthetic smell? Thanks for an amazingly honest video!
Hey luv, so I know what you mean when it comes to the Manceras. The Tiziana Terenzi’s don’t have that strong presence of synthetic vibes like Mancera but do try them first. The bottles are gorgeous but now you’ve said they smell a bit synthetic and similar to Mancera I don’t know….. maybe I will test a few but I must admit that I’ve not been excited by the brand so far 🙄
I may be in the minority on this, or perhaps the only person who thinks this; but I think TT and its sister house V Canto are basically high-end clone houses. A great deal of their frags where done before by different houses; and yes I know that frags can be quite similar across the frag universe; but I find most of their's to be literal dupes of fragrances done before.
I definitely agree and have made the same observations. For me I observe that the dna for TT, mancera and Xerjoff all have the same dna and pretty much cross sharing scents.
Could you share with us where you sell your fragrances when you declutter them? You said you sold Kirke, I would have been interested. Where do you sell in the UK? I’d like to keep my eye on it in case I want to buy sth. you declutter.
😏Yhh why do we do that? Welp for me if I said to you that these fragrances smell horrible, I would be lieing! As a matter of fact if anyone says these fragrances that I’ve mentioned don’t smell good they’ll be lieing, period! So while these fragrances smell lovely and are quite loveable scents*** I am unimpressed by the claims of this fragrance smelling of extremely high quality yet that’s not really the vibe I get especially that the 3 brands I’ve mentioned appear to be rubbing off of each other. Having 150+ fragrances in my collection I don’t just buy fragrances just to add an extra count. I have experienced fragrances that I consider to be of high quality and live up to the claims of the brand. I do have cheap fragrances in my collection and I’m ok with they but if a brand is going to be sold with claims, at this point in my fragrance journey I want to be moved by those claims and I expect the fragrance to live up to those claims. So for that matter I definitely LOVE the scent of these fragrances, they are some of the most different smelling fragrances in my collection but I’m just not reaching for them at all.

I love Kirke! I totally get what you mean about it smelling like Erba Pura. Delox also smells like Xerjoff’s K’Bridge.

I tried Kirke and it was way to aggressive for my liking. Leary of trying more but we’ll see.🤷🏾♀️
That one was actually one of the best from this brand BUT they’re definitely not all beast mode. A lot of them wear quite close to the skin actually.
