Reportaje para HA10 TV desde Peniche, que amanecía con ganas de final, una final que se la ha llevado el brasileño Gabriel Medina al vencer en los últimos minutos al australiano Julian Wilson. Medina casi pierde al hacer Wilson un gran tubo, pero en últimos minutos Medina se hizo un aéreo que fue suficiente para ganar el Pro Portugal 2017. (Ver video)

kurtOPL wick thats what im talking about Bro. If the Tour is ALL about afford the best surfers on earth surfing the best places, why they dont even wait till the right conditions? so the surfers could gives us a real spectacle, and not just chasing so-so waves, especially at the finals.
I think it was. Thats the reality of surfing, the waves wont be 10/10 all the time. A real challenge to adapt to the conditions. Those waves looked so hard to surf!

Back in the day the awkward 'poo stance' was only good for a few chuckles down at your local. It really should have no place in World Series event wins. Who rates a basic front side air to 'poo stance' over a fairly deep travelling tube? Medina rips no doubt, but winning an event on the back of some awkwardly landed 'poo stance' airs is ridiculous for pro surfing.

Wow...talk about the WSL giving it to Medina. Wilson surfed better and got the best waves of the heat. An ugly straight air and an even worse flat carve get the highest score in this heat. I get the feeling most in here cheering for Medina haven't surfed much in their life and simply applaud tricks and the fact he's from Brazil.

What a crappy finals matchup. What I mean is that both of these guys are like spoiled little girls. I know medina has gotten much better and isn't a cry baby anymore but I still don't really like him yet. Maybe soon. If it was Julian Wilson vs Felipe Toledo, I wouldn't even watch it. Toledo is the biggest cry baby I've ever seen. At least medina has matured to be a man unlike toledo
Wilson got robbed by the judges once again. Best wave, flawless barrel and finish at supertubos for a 6.37. 8.5 or 9 for sure. Unbelievable.
Daniel Fazolo you really can’t compare it to the third round because the conditions changed so much. I’m not saying it should have been a 8.5 or 9. But It was a good barrel for the conditions on final day.
Good thing you remember it was stolen, still missing one more, or you forgot Super tubes in 2012 and in Pipeline in 2014, pepper in the eyes of others is refreshment, and I do not know where you took that was stolen, the Medina is the most forked face of the circuit.
