thrustmaster needs to sort their crap out. these controllers are not fit for purpose. is there whole selling point the controller body only or something? why buy a product when you need to buy replacement analogue sticks every 3 months. Back when the eswap 1 originally came out it was game changing, now they are stuck riding the wave that's already passed. They release the HEART controller but are too lazy to design the eswap x2 with the same hall effect analogues. Such a money grabbing useless company... And thank you for your review, I agree with all points and playing claw with this controller is impossibly hard
I bought this one bc they promoted it as the controller that can do anything, but then you can't map some buttons, which was disappointing. I agree, they definitely need to make it less bulky since many claw players won't be able to use it. I feel your pain Broskis, maybe in the future they can make those changes that everyone is requesting 🙏👍 keep what the people love and add functions that work - wishful
I think it's a very good controller if you don't care about the price . the 4 rear buttons they kept them from the previous version of this controller , i have seen other reviews and those weren't very popular . and that is a big minus for me as well cuz i don't like them. for me this controller is good for fighting games , including 3 fighting like in elden ring , but i don't think it is good for shooters. and i think having modules compared to the life time for the buttons with the face buttons rated for 5 million clicks and the D-Pad rated for 2 million , here one can estimate that the face buttons won't wear before other parts, and the buyers should consider this controller only of they want to advantage for the swappable parts for different games or for the fun of it and not for being cost effective.
Great info, it's spot on, I have heard others mention they like this one for fighting games too. I like the idea of the swappable modules but wish they would have made the controller less bulky. It's a great pick-up with gamers with bigger hands, that's for sure. Ace comment Baeli!
