I, too, am process led. I resonate very much with how you work, etc. I used to find it hard, getting past the idea of it has to look like something. I began painting representationally and continued like this for decades, but I came to realise that 'something' was missing. Then four years ago I began to work intuitively with abstracts. A couple of months ago I decided I wanted to find a way to paint the landscapes of the Artic and Antarctic which have always fascinated me. Having done some copies of some photos I got stuck because I wanted them to be abstracted.
It was thanks to you that eventually found a way to do it. I followed your process and discovered three words that expressed why these areas moved me so much. My work now has so much more meaning for me.

Back in 1970 I worked cataloguing the art in the archives of the Scott Polar Research Institute in Cambridge . My love for the ice regions began then. But also then no women were allowed on Antarctica and there was definitely no tourism allowed. Times have changed 😄! I hope you manage to get there.
