Thanks for sharing your journey! I agree 100% with you. Education has been the most powerful tool that I've used with my kids to help them eat better.

My son did not get any help unfortunately. He was almost totally mute in grades 7-8 only could say yes and no barely. He didn't go to highschool but homeschooled. He is now 27 and on disability and cant really express himself in a conversation. He says little sentences but doesnt REALLY talk talk. He also has depression. He found out about food more on his own sadly. Its sad because he is brilliant intellectually. Not too many people realize the intelligence in autism or at least there are different levels. Any tips for me at this point. We can't even get help other than a social worker here outside of Toronto Canada sadly. I wish he could improve his fluency in speech. What a happy family you have. Thank you for your video's. You don't realize how much you help those who still can have the time to help there child.

I feel for your son and you. How many siblings does he have? Did he go to any activities? Did you go to church often? My son is 6 and hardly speaks. He will scream when mad. He always tries to take off his clothes (sensory issues). For depression some people took vitamin d and it helped them. I wish my son could talk like this lady's son did at the same age. My son also tries to go out of our house all the time. I don't trust anyone to watch him like I do.
Did your son get speech or occupational therapy?

+kara Battistoni keep trying to introduce new situations and have your child around a lot of children under guidance for good peer modeling.
