Years ago my brother beat a traffic ticket in court. After that he was stopped while driving constantly by the local police. He was 17 at the time. My mother put on my brother's hoodie and hat and drove around and got pulled over. The cop walked up to the car and when he saw it was my mother, he panicked and told her she was free to go. She threatened the police with a lawsuit if it continued and after that my brother wasn't pulled over again.

I want to ask why they keep a police officer or law enforcement officer who has a questionable history? My understanding is that both the deputy and his commander should be expelled from work, people like this cause many injustices, pain and cost the city and state a lot of money.
I was violated by pasco sheriffs & having been living everyday since feeling like nothing I can do about it. Horrible feeling. I never knew what justice really was until I was dealt a gross injustice. It's hard to overcome violation from what are supposed to be the good guys. You expect it from low life meth addicts that tend to just be broken people. But you're not supposed to be afraid of the good guys.

What really sucks is trying to determine which is actually worse on a case by case basis. I've none a number of meth heads who were actually pretty good people who simply had an addiction issue. Pasco has actually gotten a lot better. They've cleaned out all the pill heads and run out all the trash in NPR. Simms park has been completely redone and resembles a little dunedin now. Trust me I'm amazed as anyone else. I dont particularly like the Sherrifs office but they've done an outstanding job cleaning up our cities and streets.

There should be a big push to have this escalated to the FBI and the Department of Justice who should then conduct thorough investigations on each and everyone of these deputies. If police officers were given training all of the time, like in the military, perhaps it would provide a stronger and higher functioning department. Yes Pasco County officials did say they look forward to defending themselves. The problem is with the video and obvious unlawful activities by the "Upper Brass" as the one officer put it, they don't stand a chance in defending anything they did and this will cost the tax payers millions of dollars! I think the cops or prosecutors have access to juvenile offenses as well. Breaking in to cars, houses, carjacking, sex assault, selling drugs, weapons. No body wants these people living close by. That part of Florida is strange. There are no real big cities, but it's really grown.
From my understanding, the young son had gotten in trouble for a fight at school, which doesn't really stand out as especially egregious compared to many young teenage boys throughout human history. The real issue though is that the Sheriff's office proceeded to conflate the son's past with the entire family and began targeting them with frivolous code violations such as mailbox numbers. They would even fail to disclose the tickets on purpose, so that the family never knew to show up to court. This obviously resulted in bench warrants toward the homeowners. If this doesn't meet the definition of an oversized government body violating its citizens' rights, then Florida Republicans need to get their eyes checked.

At 11:07 am to 11:08 am this morning, I was sitting in the living room watching TV and I was shaken to once again hear the police helicopter invade my privacy, illegally surveillance me, harass me yet again and all night they watch me in my bedroom, flash lights in my window. Yes Pasco County officials did say they look forward to defending themselves. The problem is with the video and obvious unlawful activities by the "Upper Brass" as the one officer put it, they don't stand a chance in defending anything they did and this will cost the tax payers millions of dollars!
Private Insurance issued to all Police Officers is the way to go! If they get sued and cannot carry insurance any longer than find a new career! If this is the only way to keep the police honest I am in favor of it! Obviously we cannot trust all those with the power not to do these types of wrong deeds!

@@LogicSword3675 Well from what I understand these are folks that are obviously career criminals or in this case a future career criminal. I think the cops or prosecutors have access to juvenile offenses as well. Breaking in to cars, houses, carjacking, sex assault, selling drugs, weapons. No body wants these people living close by. That part of Florida is strange. There are no real big cities, but it's really grown.

From my understanding, the young son had gotten in trouble for a fight at school, which doesn't really stand out as especially egregious compared to many young teenage boys throughout human history. The real issue though is that the Sheriff's office proceeded to conflate the son's past with the entire family and began targeting them with frivolous code violations such as mailbox numbers. They would even fail to disclose the tickets on purpose, so that the family never knew to show up to court. This obviously resulted in bench warrants toward the homeowners. If this doesn't meet the definition of an oversized government body violating its citizens' rights, then Florida Republicans need to get their eyes checked.
Every cop involved needs to spend the rest of their lives in prison and the sheriff should be sentenced to the public gallows for treason.

I'd like to know what help they offered? Showing up in the middle of the night, and using your loud speaker, is not help. What did they offer the young people who were in trouble before? I haven't heard of anything! They just kept showing up to check if they were high, or drinking, or doing stuff they shouldn't be. If you follow someone long enough, you will find something. Since when do police hand out grass length fines or code fines? That's code enforcement!

At 11:07 am to 11:08 am this morning, I was sitting in the living room watching TV and I was shaken to once again hear the police helicopter invade my privacy, illegally surveillance me, harass me yet again and all night they watch me in my bedroom, flash lights in my window. I am being severely tortured by them. I am so afraid they are going to hurt me. This horrible torture is going on for a year and a half. Can’t take it anymore. It’s affecting my health in a very bad way. I am not a criminal. Want them to leave me alone. I need advice. Even in the 10 am hour I heard a very loud jet circling our house paid by them. Why are they doing this to me. Didn’t do anything wrong - it’s hell. 11:08 am it circled back around at 11:08 am- I walked to my bedroom still heard it. I am traumatized and angry they are doing this. Don’t deserve this hell want it to stop. Please I need assistance and advice
