Jinbei TRA6 HSS Wireless Flash Trigger set up

A walkthrough of the menu controls on the Jinbei TR-A6 2.4GHz HSS wireless trigger.
This trigger is for use with the HD600, HD600V, Discovery 600, Discovery 1200, DM3, Pilot, and MSN series of Jinbei flashes.

Hi thanks for the tutorial on setting up the trigger. I didn’t seem to hear anything on the first hidden menu e.g. what some of those functions do. The backlight you spoke of which is self explanatory but there is a kind of eye with an off and a slow button?

Thanks for this video. I have a Canon R, the TR-A6 II and the Jinbei HD600V. Can't figure out how to connect them. They are on the same channel. The light on the trigger blinks very fast when trying to flash. Off camera the test button also doesn't trigger the flash. Anyone here that can help me out?

Hi. Sorry I have another question. I’ve set up the channel and as I press buttons on the TR-A6 the Jinbei HD600V responds e.g. with the modelling light but as I change the power of the flash on the trigger it doesn’t change it on the light? Actually it does change it but only from 1/1 to 1/16.

If the setting will not go below 1/16, check which mode you are in.

Hello.... Is it possible to synchronously simultaneously work on the radio channel with flashes and with an external flash such as speedlite 430 worn on the hot shoe TR-611? Thankyou.

I own one of these for Canon.
I have recently bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC G9. Can I use this trigger with my new camera without frying something? What functionality would I lose?

The G9 will send the fire signal on the centre button, the same as Canon, so it should trigger the flash, but the HSS information will not pass to the flash.

For the Sony A99 you can use either the TR-Q6S (Sony version) or the TR-Q7 with the TR-Q7 Sony Hotshoe Adaptor.
