Tigre (Tigre) is a very nice town, located an hour by train from Buenos Aires. Tigre is called the Venice of Argentina, where the wealthiest people spend their weekends in expensive mansions. Previously, it was known throughout the world for its regattas and rowing competitions. There are still several sports clubs in the Tigris, founded in the late 19th and early 20th centuries by wealthy British immigrants. The most famous of them is Rowing Club La Marina, whose building is one of the main attractions here.
