It took me like 4 hours of google searches and a ton of RUclips )-; This is what I've been trying to accomplish, easy way to shadow print. Thank you so much for this video!!!
You made this so much more clear Others have done it but they speak to the public as if we are experts Love it plus love other of your videos And your Facebook group is AMAZING
OMG....I am so glad I found this video. Thank you so much. I have been watching videos of having to do it in Inkscape and it wasn't working for me. I also figured out that if you want a really thick outline you can duplicate the one you welded already instead of having to add one by one. 😉
Best one I've seen so far! Thanks for sharing. I would weld and weld and weld, then I would get a defect in my pic and would have to start again. Thanks again, I learned a new way!
Thank you SOOOO MUCH for this tutorial! This way IMO was much easier and user friendly then trying to do the shadow using Inkscape. I appreciate your videos and all the time you put into them for everyone.
It took me like 4+ hours and days of google searches and a ton of RUclips )-; downloading fonts that I thought would shadow each other, but WOW!!! this video is SPOT ON!! this is what I've been trying to accomplish, an easy way to shadow print. Thank you so much for this video!!!
I'm not in anyway an expert at my cricut and your videos help a lot. I do have a question about this though. Is there a reason that you couldn't just duplicate your text and change the color to black since you have to layer it anyway?
Thanks for the tutorial - when I go to print - after following yours - I got make it Choose which Mat And then if shows all the duplicated names to print - do you have to click on them and hide selected ??? But then still shows blanks mats - but stuck on this part - using Cricut joy
Thank you so much for explaining this so clearly! I was getting overwhelmed by the idea of downloading new programs or apps to accomplish this look. My question is what to do once it’s cut and how to adhere it to something. You cut it separately and align the two pieces on your item and hope it comes out nice? Thank you!
I’m wondering if my settings are off because when I try to off set there is a red box that automatically puts it exactly over the original. It won’t let me off set even the slightest bit. Any suggestions?
Since this video was posted, Cricut has created a new feature so we no longer have to do offsets this way. In the tool bar at the top it will say Offset, click on that and it should be much easier then the way we used to have to make our offset.
Hi. Love all your tutprials... thank you. Hope u can help. So i just started my first cup inspired by you! So it's the cracked sunflower. I messed up and didnt sand before adding vinyl and now have some glitter picking through. Can I sand it and do offset? Added epoxy over vinyl so cant take off . Thx
This tutorial is the easiest I’ve seen but can you tell me why design space won’t let me weld the shadow words 😩 everything is fine until I go to weld the shadow text
Im sorry you are having issues with this, I've honestly been thinking of the steps and trying to understand what might be happening. This is a tough one for me to answer, bc I cant see the steps your making.
I am very sorry to hear that. However, Cricut design space has since updated, and these steps are no longer necessary as they have added the offset button to make it so much easier for us to accomplish this design without all these steps!

How did you get such a large work area on your canvas? Mine only shows about 9-10" across unless I bring the magnification down to 50% or less.
Can I cut this with a cricut joy without mat
Yes I do think so, as it is a cricut just a mini.
THAAAANK YOOUUU!!!
mindy geist You are so welcome ❤️

Dora Enriquez Thank you so much and I don’t use plastic cups yet lol

Mia Yes I would sand it down, and an offset would be the perfect fix. Thank you so much darlin.❤️
Awsome ....Wasnt sure if that was a good idea . Thx

Why is there a black square on the corner of your design space
This is where a camera is supposed to be. I have since been able to remove that box on Design Space tutorials.
I guess there's been an update because you can just use the Offset button now...
@@MichaelLombardozzi-z5r oh yeah the offset button came out just a few months actually after I did the video lol
Tfs
Tamikka09 Thank you so much ❤️
Why is your video scrambled?
This is definitely not a tutorial for a beginner. I didn’t understand half of what you were saying.
I am very sorry to hear that. However, Cricut design space has since updated, and these steps are no longer necessary as they have added the offset button to make it so much easier for us to accomplish this design without all these steps!
hi, can you show the new and easier way .. I'm new to this as well !! Thanks !
