- Why isn't my green screen working? Using green screen with the stop motion studio pro app couldn't be easier when you know what you are doing. Learn how to improve your results in this video. From lighting to choice of colour and placement of screen, this video covers it all.
Green screen, when done well, can be a really effective and useful tool.... but if you don't know what you are doing things can look messy pretty quickly with green colour bleeding onto your set and characters. There are some simple fixes to these problems though that can help you get better results.

Thanks. We tried the Zing app because it had some good backgrounds but the camera focus won't lock and end up with terrible movies. I didn't realise there were backgrounds in-built into this app and that you could import your own.

But how do I shut it off? I finished using it and can’t figure out how to shut it off!
Should be in the same place you go to turn it on, in the green-screen menu tab, just toggle off.. I haven't been on the app in a while so it might of changed :/ I plan on re-downloading it soon... so if I figure out a better answer I'll let you know

Doesnt work for me, I put 3 lights on my scene and its still a huge mess.
I’ve been looking everywhere to figure out how to film green and blue characters at the same time!!! Can someone please help me?
If you are able to use an editor like Final Cut or Davinci Resolve or Premiere/After Effects you should be able to key out ANY colour. So, for example you could use a red screen and key that out. It's kind of a tricky one cus a lot of the free software only have options for keying blue or green.

Which app or camera you are using this
This is the Stop Motion Studio app (Pro version) - and its just my old iPhone SE. The app works on iPhone or Android 👌🏻

Search on the app store or on google play (for android) I think... wherever android phones get apps from - I've never had an android so not entirely sure

I think it's similar... I don't have android so can't make a video specifically on that, unfortunately
Nice job. Thanks for your green screen youtube videos -- question... it seems all/most the backgrounds are for landscape, do you know if there is a way to rotate those backgrounds so it would be in portrait - for a TikTok
I am so sorry I've only just seen this comment... maybe try emailing the app developers if you are still stuck on how to achieve that. Perhaps they could use your feedback to build in that feature if it isn't already possible

but what if you don't have a green screen
Anything green can work so long as it is flat and consistent: paper, cart, an ironed green t-shirt stretched over a frame

I was wonderining if you could do a video on the pc version of this app with a dslr comapring it to dragonframe? I just find dragon frame is quite a lot of money and wondering how stop motion studio pro holds up in comparison

How do I do it with imported images
Same question, can the app apply green screen effects to imported photos with a green screen background? Or only to photos taken with the stop motion app?
