Thank you, glad you liked it. The route is fantastic and we’re sure you’ll love it. It’s tough in places but I’m sure you’ll be expecting that. There’s also plenty of water on route should you carry a filter flask.
Great video and a very helpful insight into the route, thank you. I'll be tackling it at some point in the next few weeks. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Fantastic going well done you two did catbells Robinson myself yesterday morning . Cawsey is a bad one coming down that way much prefer going up that way. barrow is best finish ever love going down barrow. Once again thank you for taking the time to put these videos out there for our entertainment can't understand why you haven't gotten loads more subs it baffling
Thank you, as always we really appreciate your comments and time taken to watch our videos. I should have taken more footage of the descent from Causey but to be fair I really wasn’t in the mood. It was just a case of trampling through the heather which killed off my Lone Peaks!! 😂
Excellent. We were asked by a lady at George Fisher (Nina?) yesterday morning if we were part of Stuart’s gang! Assuming that would have been you? Hope you had as much fun as we did. Absolutely loved the day.
Well done to both of you for completing it. It was a pure delight to watch. Thank you for filming so much of the route and all the commentary about the peaks.
Brilliant coverage of what looks to be a very serious run. As always we have enjoyed your fottage. Just thought I would mention....I use craghopper poles with a camera attachment on top of each pole ....very handy indeed🤔 Well done both enjoyed it! Steve Karen hiking on the edge !! 😊
Thanks Steve and Karen, appreciate you taking time to watch our footage. I’ve not seen poles with camera mounts, sounds interesting! Subscribed back, will take a look at your uploads. Thanks again, Cheryl and Gary.
@@TrailRunningCouple I've use the craghopper poles for a year now with no problem so far. I fix a dji pocket pro and at times even my canon m100. We use a drone as well so I'm pushed for space sometimes. Camera on the poles are a real bonus plus you can get some different angles away from you. Just thought I would let you know. Our latest film is YGarn seems to be doing a bit better than the others. Anyway thanks again and we are pleased you might get to see some of our stuff!
Would love take a drone out with us but weight of everything we take is considered due to us running. It’s something we would like to do at some point - have a more relaxing day out but for now it’s the crazy scree descents and long distances with lots of elevation that does it for us! Will take a look at your Y Garn footage - love Snowdonia!
Loved this video. Some spectacular views. I think i would have to stop from time to time on this race to absorb the scenery at times. I certainly need to fit this into my planner now....oh and a t-shirt for the effort. That sold it for me :D
Beautiful start to the day and beautiful views! Those trails look so inviting to run. Although, with that constant exposure it seemed like it got chilly throughout the day. Very nice video!
It did get a tad chilly but once we put on our jackets it was fine. The start was glorious - the video doesn’t do the actual views any justice. Just stunning! Thank you.
Enjoyed the video and well done on the run. People keep trying to get me to run the fells. I think I'll stick to watching other people...for now anyway.
Thanks Paul, there’s nothing like running on the fells - especially the technical downhills. I live for the weekends! Congrats on your recent Parkrun. Not sure I’ve got a quick 5K in me anymore!
@@TrailRunningCouple yeah I enjoy getting out into the hills. It's like being off planet for a few hours for me. I'm hoping to go quicker but then you always do.
Great running by you both. This looks brutal but somehow I still have downloaded your route! I'm keen to give it a go. Did you have to register your attempt with the Cafe or just show them your Strava afterwards? I'm thinking I'd probably start early morning (when they're not open) and give me some more time. Great video. Thank you.
Thanks very much. After completion you have to set your Strava to Race so it gives total time and email them with the details. They then add you to the leaderboard. If you complete whilst the cafe is still open you’ll get a T shirt, buff and badge. Amazing really! We set off just after 7:20 and got back as they were closing. We wanted to get off by 7am but faffed about too much.
Totally enjoyed the film. Top effort both. This is on the list for 2023.

Thank you for watching. It’s an epic route that deserves lots of credit. Looking forward to having another bash at some point.

Great little video that, that you for sharing. I particularly enjoyed it as I to completed the round yesterday with 3 of my mates 😊

Thank you Olga, that’s lovely of you to say. It’s an excellent route that takes in some of the very best the Lake District has to offer.
Second time I’ve watched. Can’t wait to give this a bash 😎👍👌🏔
Cheers Greg, can’t wait to have another go ourselves! It’s an epic route which I’m sure you’ll love!!

Our pleasure and thank you for watching 😊
I thought I had done well at the weekend until I watched you two..............😃 - great stuff!!
Thanks Tony, appreciate your comments. I don’t think I’ve ever done an easy run. Even the local slow flat ones feel hard!!
Thanks for sharing that journey ... brilliant.

You can’t beat a free T shirt!! 😂 We did stop on occasion to look back - breathtaking scenery all around. Love Lakeland ❤️ Thank you 😊

Class video!!!! Doing this over summer. What’s the make of that blue jacket you are wearing?
Hi Phil and thanks! It’s a great route 👍
Both our jackets are Montane Spine. Brilliant bit of kit.
Great video and fantastic training for the lap, elevation will be a doddle for you now in two weeks 😊💪
Hoping so, we’ll see 😂 Thanks for your comments 😊
Superb 👍. I'm a bit worried about the route now it looks pretty tricky 😳
I’m sure you’ll be fine. It’s Lakeland at its best 😂
