Bio BBs can deform because they're made out of PLA which is soft (and not biodegradable but that's another story) so I'm guessing those are bio. Regular ones don't deform, they just crack. Specna Arms Core BBs are also well know for being off spec, deformed or too large (yes even larger than 6mm), maybe it's one of those. I'm not sure if there's anyone selling those on the brexit island. I've had to disassemble the hopup chamber of multiple AEGs on the field because people keep using Core BBs. Once had a squad of 4 that had like 10 kilos of Core BBS with them and 2 AEGs jammed. It's a 5min job at max and I need a break anyway so doesn't hurt to help. I wanted to give them my bag of BLS BBs but I had only one bag with me and there were 4 of them... But yeah... compression lock due to a jammed BB causing PME. Tho the motor ESC should have a limit on how much amps it tries to pull and not fry itself.
Not a high speed build and he didn't notice for 8+ shots that there wasn't anything coming out of the barrel or just kept pulling the trigger when he saw it was jammed? I'd chalk that one up to user error. I'd be recommending him a plastic racked piston so next time he does it it might limit the damage.
@@rogerborgWhen my mag runs empty I hear the difference in sound and stop firing. Just like I hear the difference if my gun jams. AEGs have 3 main sounds. Firing properly, Dry firing and shits fucked.
Plastic piston won't cut it. Lend my gun to a friend...another "friend" comes up and said...hmm, doesn't shoot like my sr25 shooting at 140 mps with 0.36. It shoots bad...let's pull the hop up way back...that would do the trick. Ups ...it sounds funny after 100 shots. Result...Broken Cyma gears...my conclusion: don't give things that have more than one moving part to rednecks. They will brake it or loose it. Sorry if I misspelled but I'm not from UK.
This is almost exactly what happened to me shortly after buying a G&P rapid. I was so pissed and I pointed fingers at evike and g&p for having shit QC ....In the end I feel it was my fault for running a giant lipo and pissing around in full auto with a powered drum mag. The barrel jammed and it sheared axles of gears . I have learned. I have a HPA LMG for my pissing about when playing and I have now a solid ( built by me ) g&p aeg that fires beautiful in semi auto with a 9.6 ...crisp, snappy and reliably. I used the things I've learned here on this channel.
years ago I had a jam inside a TM speed loader, it was an ASG blaster .25 bb. Said BB had a small shard of metal sticking out of it. I took pics and sent them to ASG to which I got what essentially amounted to "ah cheers for telling us" like I sure nae bother ya fud.
I bought my son a cyber gun m4 and opened it up. Plugged the battery in. No power no noise nothing. I’ve checked the fuse and the motor wires they are both good. Any ideas?
I had a jam in my Ares SL9 (g36)., which had high torque helicoidal gears, and the gearbox buckled before the gears started shearing. I thought it had airlocked but maybe it was the nozzle and tappet.
Exact same thing happened to my UTR, what I thought was just poor feeding [had just changed the hop unit] ended up being a stack of around 13 BBs jammed down the barrel caused by one unlucky round at the end - ended up knackering all of the air seal stuff because I was mid game and didn't realise it was actually jammed at first and shot a few more times. Got lucky it was only the airseal stuff though as it could've been much worse lol
Ive built a few dsgs, they are not for a novice for sure. When you start getting over 40rps you really do start finding issues, like a perun really doesn't like 55rps as it over cycles even with the increased poll rate.
I only do 13:1 trigger response builds and high speed in a lmg. 13:1 is high enough speed as is. Dsg's take a lot of skill and the break all the time. If you ask anyone who builds dsg's they will tell you they probably have to fix it every 2-3 weekends worth of use
I'd see it week in & week out in the safe zone. Look at the amount of "tech shops" that start up doing speedi builds & within a year, they're gone. So many ofbthe little fucktwunts that trolled me in my first year or so just "stopped" and here i still am.
@@rogerborgProbably more machining and better polymer. Compare a £5 bottle of 0.2s to a £10-12 you will visually notice a difference as most cheaper ones have a seam even if barely noticeable
@@rogerborg Stick to BLS, they're available everywhere and best you can get. Specna Arms Core BBs are the worst you can buy. SA Edge are rebranded BLS and great. The krytac looks passed as the stock end is facing downwards as the gearbox is straight but that isn't and that's the first thing I saw straight when I started to watch this. The money they spens on it you can buy a cyma platinum or a double eagle for half its price and them will work better and last longer then a krytac

Silicon oil, or better yet food grade silicon oil works great. IMO. It only needs a little bit don’t soak it, and use dry patches after to get oil off your hop rubber.

Presumably every time your mag runs empty you strip and examine your gun to check that it's not jammed, right?

Lessons of the day. Don't leave your mags loaded with bbs and check your barrel first.
Agreed on that one
And also buy quality bbs and not shit cheap ones.

I see this a lot, people spend huge amounts on interiors and exteriors, accessories, etc. Most use low quality BBS.

Isopropyl alcohol, as any left over evaporates quickly, whilst silicon oil can potentially gum up the barrel.
